  1. Can`t believe how boring that fight was. $50 for a main fight like that? Rampage should have capitalized on that chance he had when he almost had Rashad..but no..he stood there and watched him recover.

Shogun will own Rashad, just as Machida own him. I want to see Rampage vs Rashad 2.

Lol, man. Todd Duffee looked awesome, and he got put on his arse.

You don't pay $50 bucks JUST to watch the main event. The PPV as a whole was fantastic.

  2. My god. Just finished watching that sad excuse of a show. A few points....

    - Wtf was up with Mousasi?? That was pathetic. Absolutely pathteic. Watch the fight and you'll know.

    - Worst commentating team in the history of sports.

    - The Diaz brothers are super tough and super cool. Especially Nate with the kicking of Miller while he was down.

What a disgrace this show was.

It has not been a good week for Mixed Martial Arts. (bad fights, disgraceful antics, etc)

  3. After the Jake Shields-Dan Henderson fight at Strikeforce:Nashville, announcer Gus Johnson was with Shields. Shields said Hendo is a legend, and as he was talking, Jason 'Mayhem' Miller did a run in and wanted a rematch. Lots of shoving then began and we saw a crazy brawl with legit punches and kicks between Melendez, both Diaz brothers, and others. They all beat the crap out of Jason Miller. This was ???? INSANE. Gus Johnson screamed out that at them they they were on national TV. They then shot to commercial. That was freakin' crazy. CBS has got to be PISSED.

I can't wait to see this.

  4. I can't believe that some people are willing to pay 300$+ to watch an event headlined by a washed up former UFC star, no offense Chuck. I'd rather fly to Vegas or somewhere else to catch a better UFC event and the prices usually aren't this steep either.

Hey, look at the bright side. With Chuck Liddell, the fans are guaranteed at least one KO.

  5. "Unfortunately, not every fight turned out the way everyone would like," Silva uttering almost identical words to his odd, action-less fights at UFC 90 and UFC 97. "Demian disrespected me, not as a person, but as a fighter."

"I'm not too sure what [jiu-jitsu] school Demian came from," said Silva. "I sent a message because he disrespected morally by the things that he said. "I'm a black belt, and would never say the things that he said."

"I don't feel like I owe anyone an apology right now," said Silva. "Sometime's fights turn out good, sometimes they turn out bad."

"The way I feel, my mission was completed, I came in and dominated the fight, I did what I had to do, That's how I feel."

UFC president Dana White, who traditionally hands champions their belts at the end of fights, left the bout during the fourth round. White was still seething during the post-fight press conference.

“It was a disgrace,” he said. “To end this night the way we did was embarrassing - I apologise to every one who came to the fight. I will, I don't know how yet, but I will make this up to the fans.

Asked by The National whether putting Silva into a fight with welterweight champion Georges St Pierre – who the crowd chanted for throughout the main event – was now a priority, White was ambiguous.

“Who wants to see Anderson fight after that fight? He could be the first champion in history to be fighting on the preliminary card.”

    Wbat a mess.

  6. Yahoo! Sports Kevin Iole reported that White took Silva's belt, threw it down after the fourth round and walked to the back. When White came into the postfight press conference, he exploded without much prodding.

"Believe me, I'll answer the questions of what a disgrace the main event was," said White. "To end it the way that we did was an embarrasment for me, the UFC, the Fertittas and the UAE."

White was even more incensed than he was after Silva's wacky performances at UFC 90 and UFC 97, saying this one took the cake.

"If you're that talented, be Mike Tyson. go in there and finish," said White. "I'm so blown away and disgusted and saddened."

White also said Silva may be the first UFC champ to fight on the non-televised prelims in the future. While waiting for Silva to show up, he also said he hoped he didn't show up.

"I dont know how yet, but I will make this up to the fans," said White.

    I can't say I'm surprised that he's furious.
