    I am not questioning Bo's ability, Yes Bo is a legit top 2C, heck he can be a 1C if not so much relied on on defense, but we have 2 centeres making 7.3M and 8M. Petterson will probably re sign for 9M after his current contract. If we extend Bo to say 7.5M. We will have a problem on d right side for a very long time.

    I just dont see how and why we should be paying our 3C 7m per. As much as I want Bo to stay, the money is better spent for a legit top pairing rhd.

    He is overrated, he had a career year with basically the best linemates he ever had in his career and also the best team in the league. I dont think he will repeat the same points he did last season.

    As far as I can tell, Kadri's new contract didnt anchor anything. If Kadri can be had for 7M, Jt will be at 8.5 to 9m range, wasnt that the original asking price of JT?

    Wait wait, Kadri at 32 when his new contract at 7x7M starts, you say "good job flames! Top team in the west!" But signing Miller for 8 years at 29yrs old, "he will be too old! Going to be an albatross contract" What?!?!

    If we are extending Miller, we should be going all in to compete for the cup or atleast go deep into the playoffs, Miller is almost 30, he is in his prime now, if we extend him and wait for a couple years for that solid RHD to pair with Quinn, Miller could be on the decline. So the way I see it, if we are extending Miller, PA/JR are thinking to compete, if we arent going all in, then might as well trade him.

    I am in the trade Miller for whatever we can get wagon but the longer this takes, the more I just want him extended. Just trade Hoglander and Garland for whatever we can get and sign Klingberg.

    They have no reason to fear that Mac wont extend, totally different situation compared to Miller, that's what Im trying to say, wouldnt be surprised if the avs gets it done before next season starts. This Miller issue will drag on until next years tdl if PA and Jr wont reduce their asking price. Its obvious he doesnt want to be here, either we pay him 10M+ for 7or8 years or he is gone. I hope Im wrong.

    And Mckinnon will be extended, no doubt about it. Reason they wont re sign Kadri because that money will go to Mck who is up for a big time pay day. Only making 6M+

    Those guys you mentioned werent the team's top players unlike Miller is to our team. Had that been Macinnon or Makar, dont you think it will atleast be a distraction?
