Bruce Boudreau is a proven veteran NHL coach who can get his teams to make the playoffs.

He doesn't have much playoff success. But his teams are usually pretty fun to watch.

For the Canucks even Boudreau would be an upgrade on Green.

Chip. My sister-in-laws Bernadoodle is an upgrade on Green. 

AV back would be amazing.  Proven NHL coach with a good record.  He was getting a bit stale with the old core, but they're all gone at this point.  Compared to what else is available, he'd be top of the pack.

@PunjabiCanucks Wow. Star player salaries escalated quickly from the mid-90s to the early 2000s. I guess that's one of the reasons the league wanted to implement the cap.

It is!  I haven't watched Southpark in about 4 years but this was brilliant!  Should I go back and watch the Disney episode?  Give me a couple of recommendations from the last two seasons

The Disney plus episode from last season featuring Scott Malkinson was a great piece of storytelling

The Amazon episodes from S22 were great, and a boy and the priest from that same season

Oh and also the transpbobia episode from last year slayed. Great satire on trans athletes and peoples attitudes towards them

I don't have a problem with it as a character concept. I'm saying it sounds a little forced. Toning it down would make it seem more natural. 

Somewhere during the interview, Horvat mentioned that Hughes lost it when they brought in Huggy Bear t-shirts to the locker room. He apparently doesn't like that nickname too much lmao.

Better tell Bo to keep Hughes happy,because that young man is a STAR.

If you tease people they seem to dislike you, so like I said keep him HAPPY and find a nick name for our STAR defense man that he doesn't mind so much and don't tease our Calder Cup Nominee because if he wants to be traded many fans are going to be a little more than UPSET.

Because over the years the Canucks have not had any Norris Trophy winners(best defense man award),and Quinn might just be that guy.

I love when he yells "SCORING OPPORTUNITY"!!! He  also butchers Matt Stajan's name in the video game series calling Matt "Stay-on" instead of Matt "Stay-jan"

I remember that presser well. I was on and off the Torts train all year long, but the guy was not the coach we needed at all. I laugh at all the people who said "You wait and see what he does with CBJ this year, you'll see". Well, where are all of you now?

Nevertheless, he nailed it with the core being stale, rebuilding on the fly is tough to do, but not impossible, you need to have some luck, and some prospects that are somewhat ready to jump in right away, and cap space, or moveable players. We were working with a short hand. 

Add in the question about what ownership says about roster moves and who's to say Tort's was the guy responsible? All I say is he was the 1st one to put it that way bluntly in public. Then he and MG were fired an they still tried to compete. 

So yeah I find it interesting, but still don't think he was the trigger. Maybe I'm wrong.

@GS. What I was getting at is she doesn't need to date make to get attention.  His star status is way lower ;p. I never commented on her quality of character.  But who are we to judge. She could be a real sweetheart. Or the female version of Jakob Hoggard lol
