Alright, looks like it's going to be one of those nights.

Well at least I have Couturier in my pool...

I'm going to the game vs. the Hawks in Novemeber. Let's boo their asses off the ice...
I wouldn't mind hearing a "shame on Toews" chant at the game.

Also gotta give credit to Westhead and TSN for keeping tabs on this. Is it just me or was Sportsnet oddly silent on this until the final report came out?
Probably has to do something with the fat national broadcasting rights Rogers has with the NHL...

I do think you'd be doing yourself a favour by doing that. The BOC is indicating they won't be running the printer at full speed any longer. Doesn't mean they won't remain accommodative but just not at the same rate.
New Zealand already hiked from .25% to .5%. Earlier today the Brazilian Central Bank hiked from 6.25 to 7.5 and indicated another hike of the same magnitude can be expected at their next meeting.
I wonder what's going to happen to loan delinquency rates when everyone has to renew their mortgages in a higher rate environment.
Felt so relieved when I locked in a 5-year fixed earlier this summer.

Systems and strategies need to adjust.
I don't care if it's Green or another coach that gets brought in, it needs to change.
Getting tired of watching the team defend in a passive box/diamond 5 on 5 and on the PK, constantly dumping and chasing with wasted energy on cycling around the perimeter and the dreaded PP which has become incredibly predictable now.
With the offensive talent we have now, we should be able to outscore our opponents, especially with having our stud of a goaltender Demko in net. I guess I would feel a little better if we were losing 5-4 rather than losing 3-2, but with the way Demko is playing, I can't imagine the Canucks letting in 3+ goals in. The offence on the other hand...

They are both directly implicated.
Interesting. All eyes are on the Jets and Panthers then.

Will not be surprised if the NHL forces the Panthers to fire Quenneville and the Jets to fire Cheveldayoff. They were both in the room and they both don't deserve to be employed by NHL teams.
Are they directly implicated by the independent investigation's report? If not, I doubt they'll be punished (unfortunately).

Apparently Juolevi is injured again even though he still hadn’t played a game for Florida.
The Canucks seem to have a thing for injury-plagued Finnish d-men.

Did the Green haters forget he only got signed for two more years? I think that's a pretty clear signal that he's on a pretty short leash.
I say he gets fired mid-season if the Canucks completely crash coming out of the gate or he gets axed at the end of this season if the Canucks don't make the playoffs. Or his contract doesn't get renewed if the Canucks have two quick playoff exits for the next two years.
I'm not mad that he hasn't gotten fired yet, but I'm happy that he's on a short leash, the next two years are his last chance to show that he's a legitimate NHL coach.

Meh, got a point. Green needs to play Podz more.

Glad it's gotten to OT, but honestly pretty annoyed by Green sitting Podz.

Whoa, that was a pretty badly missed call. That trip was pretty blatant.

Wow Aquilini really making his support for Benning known here - "I'm backing Jim so if you want to diss anyone diss me. Jim and his team are working hard to put the best team on the ice."
Hope Benning gets it right.

Is it just me or is CDC panic for the start of this season been the highest it's ever been in recent memory
To be fair, I guess this year and maybe next are make it or break it for all of management and the coaching staff. Kind of feels like 2008/09 when everyone was calling for AV's head until Burrows scored that GWG against Carolina.

Cap hit and term seem fair in isolation, but I don't see how this contract fits with the future of Nashville and their impending rebuild/tool/whatever you want to call it.
Surprised Ekholm doesn't want to move to a team that's more on the rise to be honest.
