  1. To be honest 4 pounds isn't a lot.

Could be as simple as you eating something differently that's making you retain more water.

That would be my best guess.

If you're in a routine and haven't shifted much from it you should stay the same.

I wouldn't worry about it to much.

But If you are, then try to keep track or how many calories you eat a day on average. That way if you stay the same you can either increase of decrease your intake depending on your goals.

Do you think a possible increase in my carb intake is causing the water retainment?

  2. Depends, what type of workouts do you do? And what's your usual calorie intake, has it gone up or down the past couple weeks?

Just a regular workout routine I guess? Can't really put a name on it. I just workout three times a week, 25 minutes of cardio before I hit the weights each time. Rotate between Back/Biceps, Chest/Triceps, Legs/Shoulders.

I'm pretty sure my calorie intake has been constant. I don't really keep track, but my meals have stayed pretty much the same for the past few months. I'm pretty sure I'm at a deficit, which is what I'm trying to aim for. I have caught myself snacking a little bit on things like cookies a few times, but I don't think that translates into four pounds...

  3. So...after a few months of working out and changing my diet I have been able to get from 160 to 150. But recently, I've crept back up to 154. Are these 4 pounds just muscle mass that I've gained from working out, or is my diet starting to get off track?

  4. If Shero was only offering Sutter and a 1st thats awful. How can that be the only offer? Sounds like Kesler said Penguins or bust. If so, Kesler can rot with the rest of the team for the rest of the season.

I believe it was Sutter,a 1st,and. 3rd.......That's kind of an insult ...It's a good thing that were not desperate to trade Kesler, although having him festering in the room next season would be a really bad idea.....Kesler is not doing the Canucks any favors by only having 3-4 teams that he will play on...This season has been a disaster.

For God's sake, Kesler never demanded for a trade. Gillis was just listening to offers since teams where checking to see if Gillis was willing to part ways with Kesler.

Stop believing in every damn rumour you read about on Twitter.

  5. Just heard the interview from Kesler after he found out that he wasn't traded. It's obvious that he wanted out. And the jab to management. He learns quickly from Luo, make a jab and you'll be gone real soon. And rumours were that he didn't want to go to a Canadian team, so no Toronto.

Less and less respect for Kes. See ya ...

What? What the hell, where do you come up with all this? Are you a mind reader? All he said was that he doesn't pay attention to all this trade talk.

Seriously, CDC is so notorious for making claims that have no evidence to back them up.

Gillis was never shopping Kesler around, he was just getting offers for him because other teams know that we may be open to re-building. It only seemed like we were shopping him around because we had gotten some serious offers from Philly and Pitts. It's not like Gillis was asking for them, you can't prevent a GM from making you an offer.

  6. "Hopefully our little re-tool will be like Anaheim's after they won their cup. Our prospects will develop quick (hopefully) and this team won't be so dependent on the twins and Kesler."

    - won't be so dependent upon them to score zero goals in 20 games you mean? (As an aside; how many goals do you expect from Daniel 2-3 years from now?)

If they can put up 50-60 points as 2nd liners I'll be happy. But then again...they're getting paid 7 million a year so I don't know if I should be satisfied with that...
