  1. To be fair, with competent coaching the Falcons win the game after going up by 11 points. Inexperienced coaching cost the Falcons just as much as, if not more than, the inexperienced players.
  2. They should have run the ball while in field goal range is what I was saying. Instead they ran the play that led to the sack and it dominoed from there.
  3. Atlanta lost this game when they chose not to run in field goal range and go up by 11.
  4. yeah, especially due to the lack of third party games. Nintendo games are great, but it would be awesome to play a game like GTA 5 on the road or w/e.
  5. Yes. I have a friendly bet of $20 with a Pats fan. I doubt I'll win, but it gives me some excitement for the SB.
  6. To be fair, these odds are a little wonky because of the current matchups. For example, the Steelers are low because they play the Patriots now, so it's unlikely they win the SB because they don't get there. If the Steelers did win, they might be favored over the Falcons (who might be higher because they are expected to beat the Packers). Additionally, despite the odds, if the Steelers and Packers make it to the SB, they might actually give the Steelers the edge despite the current %. This is because they really don't see the Steelers beating the Patriots, rather than the Steelers beating the NFC team.
  7. I'd love to see the Falcons go all the way, but they are probably ranked 4th to do so. For the Patriots, stop Bell= win. It is as simple as that. Brady can win a passing shootout with Ben if needed, and I like the Patriots secondary more.
  8. If only the Sedins contracts ended this year, then we wouldn't have to protect them. As of right now we have the Sedins and Eriksson, Horvat, baertschi, granlund, Tanev, edler, and another D protected. Could have made it easier without the twins :P

  9. I know people were upset with the deal at the time, but one thing I always liked about it was that he was traded to a team that had very little going for it (if you thought out prospect pool was small at the time, their best prospect was Mattias Tedenby (and there weren't many others). It seems that this is still the case, albeit they are a bit better now.
  10. To be fair, my phone autocorrected it to that lol. I looked it up afterwards and it seemed to be accepted, just like thesauruses. Edit: after some digging around I found out that octopi is deemed correct due to a hypercorrection, but may not be found in all dictionaries.
  11. I don't think he would have even been on the Canucks roster, especially with how Virtanen's development has taken shape. OJ will probably struggle earlier on than MT due to size and the typical developmental path for a d-man.
  12. I think Tkachuk would have struggled in Vancouver. He gets to complement the existing skill that the Flames have, whereas with Vancouver he would be counted on to produce offense on his own (he'd have to be a Sedin rather than a Burrows). The role he is in with Calgary is perfect for him, especially at this time.
  13. Tom Brady suspended 4 games for failing a recent PED test... Also, I lied. Merry Christmas
  14. Agholor got a TD¡!!!!¡¡!!¡
  15. I don't know much about the texting incident, but I don't mind what the Giants got for a penalty. 1) It was for one drive 2) No intent to cheat (walkie talkies were only used to substitute the malfunctioning headsets, this seemed like an on the spot decision more than pre-meditated). 3) Sets of three look better, you can ignore this point
  16. The pick from Columbus is sure starting to look more like a 3rd lol.

Its OK, it was free. Well... I suppose it cost Aquilini 8 million bucks  Benning better make the most of it.

      People call a late 2nd a 3rd and call an early 3rd a 2nd, lol

^That is true. At least I stated that it was starting to look more like a 3rd (which is a true-ish statement, as it is getting closer to being 3rd round picks). Of course it will always be a 2nd, so I am technically wrong :P

  17. I'd love that because they'd have to lose some key pieces elsewhere.
  18. Would you like to see my thesauri?
  19. I think we will be okay cap-wise, as will the Cowboys if they let Romo go. As for the draft, it would be nice to build around Wentz while shoring up our defense. I love the idea of getting an OT early on, even if it isn't a flashy pick. The O-line can dictate the offense almost as much as the QB can, so that would be a nice addition. I'd also love to get a solid CB, so I'm on point with taking one in the first round, especially one that can create turnovers. The only question I have is taking a project WR. I'd rather try to fill another need more appropriately than gamble on another "meh WR", even though we do need wide receivers, I would rather get a more prolific one next year while filling a hole elsewhere this year.
  20. Ehrhoff was that guy for us. I remember him getting two against Colorado and then hitting the post on what would have been his hatty. I think Ehrhoff was more dynamic (skating around, taking the puck into the zone, etc...) in the offensive zone than Stecher, but that could have to do with the systems in place too. Stecher will probably gain more confidence with experience anyway, so I could see him developing his offensive game even more
  21. Yeah, throughout this season I have been alternating between "at least we'll get a good pick" to "oh $&!#, we don't have our pick, but at least we have Minnesota's." Thank goodness we got that pick from the Vikings, it would be pretty embarrassing to have as bad a year as the Eagles and not have a 1st rounder when the draft is held in Philly
  22. Yeah, I would have been excited to get him, but I understand the reasons for not picking him up. The draft is interesting for sure, and I am hoping that Minnesota finds a way to lose more games
  23. I don't mind the Eagles not claiming Floyd. They released Huff for off-field issues, so it would be quite hypocritical to claim someone with issues as well.
  24. There is something undeniably sexy about Donald Trump
  25. Mike could never live up to the Nugent name like Ted did.
