hands down bro, good point tough to compare another to him.. lauryn hill(his idol, sh!t my idol)or maybe an artist from the west-indies like damian marley singjaying is popular there..it's A LOT harder and deserves more respect, imo.. here's a good consious one(not singjaying) a friend of k-os', somalian emcee: knaan (can't find an embeddable one)

yea very true, and his new stuff is nice i like his new album/the remix album version too. true true he's from east but his house's in town though, and he calls van his home, dj's here and records his stuff out here..... all his albums are creative/but my favorite of his work is probly superstarr(v. 0,1,2) [recognize this from notorious big's 'ready to die' intro..]
