  1. I always say to myself "Why would I watch the Pakistan vs India cricket match, we always lose" but I every time I still end up watching it. Waste of 4 hours cause of course we lost. :picard:

Younis Khan, what a player. I never watched cricket in the late 90s. Born and raised in Canada, I had no idea what cricket was. My uncle and his family came from Pakistan to Canada in 2001 and they always used to have parties during T20's and World Cups, and then I got really into it. Such a fantastic sport. My favorite memory was in 2009 when Pakistan won the T20 against Sri Lanka. Watched the entire match, then headed off to school with such a smile and excitement. People had noooooooooooo idea what I was talking about .

I started watching cricket at a really young age. My dad and I used to watch County together. I never really found international cricket all that interesting as finding the right matchups was very difficult due to scheduling. The tournaments were interesting but they were infrequent. Tri series was fun but only if all three teams were strong. I think not having a team to support intentionally kinda limited my interest in cricket. In any case I rarely watch anymore now.

My dad remains a die hard though although his attitude is that of a purist. He watches 20 over cricket but it doesn't capture his interest. He says there was a grace to the game that has been lost.

In any case have fun watching the rest of the tourney.

I woke up and watched, I reallly thought Pakistan did well at the start of the second innings, was worried. But they never really had an answer for Kohli.
