Had a nightmare that Hughes went to the Devils to play with his brothers and they won the Stanley Cup that year . The fear of Hughes leaving Vancouver for Jersey will forever be with me.

My nephew has questions about Hockey Talks, he's doing an assignment on it. I couldn't find the answer for a few questions, I was wondering if someone here could help us out?

@Apricot https://www.nhlpa.com/news/1-12980/hockeytalks-launches-to-raise-awareness-for-mental-health
It seems like Kevin Bieksa is the spokesperson/public representative. He was the person to initially announce Hockey Talks back in 2013. The article also mentions that the NHLPA is involved. This is a stretch but I think it would be logical if every Canadian team is funding their respective Hockey Talks campaign.

Can hockey come back please I'm not getting any younger here
-
I decided to start counting my age backwards at each coming birthday. This year, in October, I will be 66. It’s kind of a nice feeling to be getting younger. Now, when hockey starts up again, I should have a better chance of staying awake for the third period of our home games!
We seriously need hockey.

I've lost my voice, my hands hurt from clapping so much, my eyes hurt from crying so much. What a magical night, I can't believe I had the opportunity to see it live. I will remember this game for the rest of my life.

You guys know what day it is? It’s Bell Let’s Talk Day! Every time you tweet #BellLetsTalk or retweet someone who has, Bell donates 5 cents to mental health initiatives. It’s important so y’all get tweeting or retweeting!

Apricot, I wasn't going to say anything, but I guess I changed my mind. Here's Bell's idea of "Let's Talk":
QuoteMaria McLean was an afternoon radio host at K93 FM in Grand Falls until she was fired on Jan. 12, just one hour after sharing her struggles with mental illness with her colleagues and giving her supervisor a doctor's note stating that she needed two weeks off work to adjust to her new medication.
"It's like a nightmare I can't escape, I think about it all day, I think about it when I sleep," said the 24-year-old.
McLean said the irony of the situation is that the New Brunswick radio station she was fired from is owned by Bell Media, part of Bell Canada Enterprises, the company behind a national fundraiser for mental health initiatives called "Bell Let's Talk."
But McLean feels that talking and sharing her struggles is what caused her to lose her job.
"I took that note from my doctor to my supervisor because I was admitting I needed help. I said, 'In two weeks I am going to be better. I just need this time.' And I was punished for that."
The former afternoon radio host and ad writer said she was caught off-guard because she thought things were going well at work. McLean said her supervisor, Kirk Davidson, suggested she take over hosting the morning show the summer of 2017.
"That was the day before I was fired."

Mental health and the reality of mental health struggles are real, but Bell and their 5 cent contributions are a pittance. 100,000 tweets would yield a mere $5000. For a company the size of Bell, even 1 million tweets would yield a pittance. I have no problem with raising awareness of mental health issues, but unless I have this all wrong Bell is clearly using this to buy cheap publicity instead of actually caring about the issues.
For those who might think I have some bias here, well, it isn't toward Bell. I'm a Rogers customer (Rogers sucks) who has had positive interactions with Bell customer service over the years. This just feels crap though.
Sorry for countering your positive intent with such cynicism, but 5 cents is 0 cents, and although I don't know Bell's side of Maria's story the whole thing smells like a $&!# sandwich.

I had a nightmare that Boeser didn't re-sign with us but instead signed with Minnesota and he scored in game 7 OT WCF against the Canucks, then went on to score game 7 OT SCF against Toronto to win the Stanley Cup.
