    After all these years. I'd always hear a bird singing, and yet I never could see them. It turns out it's chickadees. It's the sound warning of predators.

      Its crazy all the different calls birds have.  DIdn't pay attention when i was younger..

       

      I have hummingbirds all over my yard (they love the persimmon tree). Sometimes they hurt my ears!

      The Northern FLicker also has a varity of crazy screams.  

      The Chick-a-de-de-de-de was the most calming for me.  Reminds me of feeding them.
