    I'm happy if Cuba breaks free from Communism. However my fear is they will replace one corrupt group with another corrupt group. And the people of Cuba will still get exploited.

      People of Cuba were exploited FAR more under the previous despot (Batista).  Both were/are evil but Castro was the lesser of the two evils.

      Cuba's doing fine, although the fact that doctors are getting paid so minimally there might say otherwise. Corruption happens regardless of what 'systems' are in play. People get greedy, and they'll use all means to get ahead of everyone. You'll see it in communism. You'll see it in capitalism. Hell, you see it in Canada.
