I'm starting to think we were tricked

Rename CDC as "Vintage Canuck", and watch the mass return of users.
-
Garland is on the trade block, hopefully the Canucks can get a deal done.

Here til the last strains of the fat lady's aria has faded to silence and the stage lights are lowered....lower... and go out...for the very last time.
-
This place has slowed to a crawl
-
CDC: Hits 100,000 registered users
Canucks: Better shut down that dump

I've made the switch to the new forums. Don't imagine I'll be on here much anymore. New name is Rush on new forums.

If greed wins the day and the NHL expands to 36 teams. That might be it for me. I see nothing but disaster with that. Short term gain for long term headaches. And Vancouver will never win a cup.
4 teams with the generous expansion rules? It will destroy existing teams rosters.

I've seen the league grow from 14 to 32. I only started to get concerned when it got past 28.
Because it's not like there's new development leagues forming, so there's no more new players into the pipeline.
Not all the 32 existing teams are well off. And the NHL's marketing is horrible. There's so many things to correct first instead of just going for the cash.

Mixed my scotch. Who does that? Feel like such a LOSER.
Took a bottle of Glen and mixed it with a cheapo.
Alf feels shame. Alf is kneeling and bowing to his empties and begging forgiveness. -

Random question:
Gas or Electric snowblower?
I'm getting one soon, but which one? 4-5 car driveway size. Live in the interior of BC.
-
Captain Quinn Hughes. It's got a nice ring to it.

You get one free punch to any active NHL player without any repercussions, legal or physical. Who would you choose? Remember, they have to be an active NHL player.
I would say Trevor Zegras.

Back when there was 6 teams. Before I was even born.
Bobby Orr's fourth NHL game.
3rd Period.
- No board ads.
- No helmets.
- No Masks for the goalies.
Unreal.

As of now, my Pacific Division standings at seasons end are as follows, the central is weaker, 5 Pacific teams get in
1. Las Vegas*
2. Edmonton*
3. Los Angeles*
4. Vancouver* WC
5. Seattle* WC
--------------------
6. Calgary
7. Anaheim
8. San Jose

@Citizen Erased I can actually see that. Between the fatigue of a long playoff run. And the desire to win it. They might not have it in them. But then again Tampa surprised everyone. But I don't see Vegas winning it again.

i wouldn't mind if the canucks gave up a 3rd round pick for logan thompson.
he could fight out between between silovs and martin for back up.
by all reports he has an excellent future. perhaps silova an thompson would be a good tandem someday. he makes less than 800,000 this season.
