@Coconuts  Who needs a manual?  We'll just watch Red October to see how it's done.  And if that's not enough, I'm sure there's a YouTube video tutorial available.

I'm not sure Minecraft is a great example, as it was available on almost all modern consoles before Microsoft bought Mojang in 2014. It was already established multi-console. May not have any bearing on future IP's..

I'd have preferred they stayed independent like CD Projekt Red, but what do you do

    3. Dazzle

      Dazzle

This is capitalism at work. We are seeing companies with deep pockets buy out competition. The people who innovated to this point get their payouts. In the meantime, Microsoft "invests" on itself.

I am not a Fallout player. I play games but I am not a massive gamer. I just compare this with how Telus, Rogers, and Bell work. It's just a bunch of massive companies limiting as much competition as possible, and there is very little willpower to keep this in check.

I think it works a little differently for game studios in order to produce tripple a games you need big budgets

But half a dozen or less people can create really fun games.thats the only issue with gaming these days everyone wants triple a games.Which has turned the the console into a boring medium when it used to be fun.

In a way, a lot of hockey fans are "racist" towards each other.

Canucks fans hate Flames fans, and vice versus - because of the colours they wear.

@Phil_314  They SHOULD rename the Lady Byng trophy imho.  It just isnt treated with much respect.  Heck, I'm an old fart and had to look up who the heck Lady Byng was.  Unfortunate given that she was a fan of hockey but I think the trophy would have alot more meaning if it was named after someone like Jean Beliveau.  Mr. Class!

    4. King Heffy

Yeah, I can get it for less than $3.00 for a 16 oz bottle.  I've bought kombucha at Whole Foods in Vancouver for $3 something for a 16 oz / 473 ml bottle.

@Violator It's a good move.  1 night stay at the vet hospital ~ $1,000.  Ultrasound ~ $650.  Feeding tube installed in esophagus ~ $950.  Unscheduled visit at vet hospital ~ $160.  Those are just a few recent examples.  That doesn't account for the meds, fluids and other stuff.  I wish I had taken my own advice and set aside money when he was young.  He's 14 now and I would have had enough money set aside for his recent troubles.

Don't get me wrong.  Getting a dog was the best thing we ever did.  And I have zero regrets spending all this money on him.  My only regret is not setting aside money since he was a pup.

Might want to check the Canada Line at rush hour Ron. Built what little over 10 years ago. 8 am you have to wait 1-2 trains to squeeze on board. If transit is convenient and runs often, it gets used. I've been taking transit more and more lately, because I'm getting sick of spending 90 minutes to 2 hours getting home stuck in traffic.

That sucks.  Employers need to make an effort to give workers  regular shifts if at all possible. If its not possible, then good communication is critical / essential.

Not having work is super stressful and its tough to make plans when you aren't kept in the loop by irresponsible managers...

Hope you get the call back soon.  In the meantime , try to spend time with those close to you in your life. Do something special with them and tell them how much they mean to you.  Life goes by way too quick.

Remember in the (classic) 1988 Wall St, Gordon Gecko introduces one of his fat brokers as, "The Terminator!"

Personally feel language & culture started going heavily plastic in the 80's. As everything got supersized, we needed to economize the jargon of the day.
