  1. Just inform followers quickly and have an opinion that some appreciate.
  2. SO tired of the fixation on finding bottom six players. This team is FILLED with solid bottom six players and role players, when this team has clearly needed scoring and skill for years. Management's goal should only be striving for gaining top six scoring and that alone. Adding more bottom six role players will just stretch this problem and continue our lack of scoring and clutter this team even more.
  3. Pretty sure Shinkaruk also only has the options for NHL or junior. But Gaunce will be in Utica.
  4. The fact your basing that all off of an interview, where he mentioned a handful of prospects and discussed it for a few moments, is hilarious. There's not a chance a guy like Gillis is counting out Gaunce.
  5. Sums up Mike Gillis and how he does things in a sentence.
  6. 3rd and a prospect in itself may be too much. But the fact that Booth is on the 2nd line tonight is clear that he's not only getting his last shot, but its a clear indication of showcasing him for a transaction while scouts watch.
  7. He adds a much needed aspect of skill this team has been lacking. I doubt Booth for Erat is going to be straight up, if it happens at all, but it's in the teams best interest to acquire a player like this right now. If they can somehow take Booth it will be a homerun and will be around 2mill less for next season, even for a buyout.
  8. Spam Alert: Just trying to spread the word of my twitter account @Chel24Seven (NHLUpdates24/7), where I tweet and retweet news and updates from respected sources with up to the minute news. No fake info claiming I have sources everywhere. Just trying to have my hockey voice heard while providing a service. Would be much appreciated for a follow or RT!
  9. This has been glaring for two years! I've repeated myself over and over. Now it's just catching up to the team and managements safe style of running this team, most of the time. It's just the captain going down with his ship now. There were guys available i.e. Ryan, Seguin, Eriksson, Brunner, etc. It's obviously easier said than done but we have had the pieces to do these things but instead we used them for a chance for success when current management wont even be present. Just super disappointing to see this staff to what it has when there was so much potential to keep it going with it's pieces. Were going to need a lot of luck now to get more pieces somehow, or just be patient and wait for years to come with younger players coming up.
  10. There is no chance Shinkuruk is big enough to make the show yet. Needs a few more years before being considered for a top six role.
  11. From what I have seen and heard about Gaunce is that most likely he wont make the team this year. Still needs a year or two of development, and getting good minutes in Utica should do just fine. Not going to be a top six guy that most people want him to be in my opinion.
  12. At the end of the day, i'm still going to continue to buy Xbox and Xbox Live. The games and experience has always been better and it wont change. Developers will often choose making 'the gamers game' for Xbox, over Playstation most of the time. Not saying Playstation wont impress, but i've always felt Xbox is the real gamers machine and will stay that way with all the gamers already invested in winning on Xbox Live and the games you can only play on Xbox.
  13. What do you mean what happened to this guy? You can't judge him after playing that many games. He had a hard year in 2010-2011, but this year rebounded very well. MacT (Wolves coach this passed year) said he really liked his game this year and believes he could play in the NHL. If you watch that highlight video, that can give you a taste of his high skill. I'm more excited than worried with this guy.
  14. Seems as Schroeder and Sweatt have a lot of chemistry this past year. Would like to see both of them given chances this year. I'd also like to see Schroeder given PP time. With that skill and shot, he sure fits very well on the half boards.
  15. He's gonna for fight a spot on the team early in the year next season, but will be back in Chicago i'd say 20 games in. He still needs another half a season or more in the AHL before getting a solid spot on the team.
  16. I fully agree, although, I dont believe his thought process included Grabner not having that skill. It seems more as he saw what Grabner had, but you have to give up something to get, and management clearly felt Ballard would have been that player that he was in Florida and practically make our defence full of top line dmen. I'm shooting for a rebound season for Ballard and seeing some good things with him and Tanev on that back pairing.
  17. 53 points as a d-man on that Thrashers team that existed last year. Doesn't sound like a guy that has too bad of hands. And actually Buff and Archibald's speed is pretty similar along with stride style. It's sorta freaky to me how similar they are.
  18. He reminds me of Dustin Byfuglien, its crazy how similar they play, specially since Buff use to play forward.
  19. Yeah, I've always been a big fan of Johan Hedberg.
