As far as how the import draft works: All 60 CHL teams are ranked for the draft in reverse order based on their regular-season finish and the draft order alternates between all three leagues. the problem is that some small market teams can't afford to pay for the import player they drafted to come over, and often trade that pick/player (often before the daft ever takes place) to larger market teams for cheaper imports. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/chl-import-draft--can-new-rule-changes-fix-a-broken-system---194409144.html

I didn't hear a code blue during my 7+ hours there, so noone died before i left. i'm sure he's not feeling good by any means though. I'm over the stomach virus and well hydrated, had a stiff neck for a couple days and i got a giant scab on my forehead, plus some swelling and minor bruising, but it could have been a WHOLE lot worse. i only passed out 5 or 6 times before i got rehydrated and then it stopped happening. luckily i was sitting down and supported for all the other times. it certainly was scary though.

he came in as part of a car accident. the other guy was on either a motorcycle, scooter or moped. (heard a heated discussion with the nurses before they got in there about which one it is, why it matters and what the difference is ) I'm fairly certain he was the guy in the car. from what i could gather from the firefighters/paramedics talking to him and getting some info for their reports, the motorcycle guy ran a stop sign and plowed into the driverside of that guy's car.

that doesn't really matter, since he wasn't drafted out of the CHL anyway, he would have been AHL eligible regardless of his turning 20 this december.

yeah, as soon as he signs he's no longer NCAA eligible. he wouldn't have to go to the CHL though, he could go AHL or ECHL, and depending on how things go with our goalies would could potentially lose markstrom (waivers or trade) AND eriksson (europe), meaning we'd need a backup to Cannata and a starter in the ECHL. that would be O'connor and Demko.

i would assume he'll be having the surgery asap now that his season is over.no reason to delay anymore. and he should be go to go by next season.
