  1. hah, that's just great.
  2. yeah, he came right out and stated he won't resign with calgary. can't say i blame him after burkie's lambasting about him only paying well in one zone and such. guess he didn't have enough truculence for his liking.
  3. in all the games i've seen him in (all AHL) i was impressed. i'm liking the deal.
  4. ask your older brother/sister/cousin. or just google it.
  5. if he's under contract with his KHL team for another season after this (which i believe he is) then he won't be going to utica after his season is finished. I'm not sure when KHL season contracts are up (a set date or directly after their team's last game), but regardless, it'd be unlikely that he would come over for the remainder of the comets season even if it were his final season in the KHL. work permits, travel arrangements, etc. all take time, i'd be surprised to see him any earlier than the beginning of a new season.
  6. i see them as black and blues brothers, but some may see them as gold and whites brothers
  7. he wasn't drafted out of the CHL, so the CHL NHL agreement doesn't apply to him.
  8. he has to be 20 by dec 31st of that season... so no, he isn't
  9. you were just there for the view?
  10. from all accounts, it sounds like he's been playing really well this season, Leading Utica rookies in points, 6th in team scoring (5th in goals, 4th in assists) and i've heard nothing but good things from the utica fans about him.
  11. the streak started before kenins was called up and dorset was still on his line, so it's not just Kenins, but I do love how they play together. Great duo. I think it's just Horvat getting acclimated to the league and willing to push a little more offensively where he would have fell back to cover defensively at the beginning of the year. he's just going to continue to get better with every game, he's really coming into his own.
  12. lol, totally. he seems like a real frugal small town guy. really down to earth. currently borrowing a car, how frugal can you get.
  13. I wonder if Plum changed his opinion on horvat... has he posed in here recently? Edit: he has
  14. i guess i'll just mosey on out of town *kicks dirt and hangs head*
  15. then start it this won't be moved one way or the other. if you want to discuss horvat with CT then no one's stopping you. In fact, I'll start it for you: http://forum.canucks.com/topic/367260-bo-horvat-talk-ct-edition/ have at it.
  16. Oui shud muv dis tread to kanukz tok cuz hez ah reglar nough. seriously though. threads don't get moved out of this section, this thread will be locked at the end of the season (or next season) and people will then talk about him solely in CT. it's like CT people want exclusivity on all horvat discussions or something.
  17. the team as a whole regressed due to the influx of rookies. this weekend he went 1G 1A 2PTS +1 8Shots 2PIM in 2 GP
  18. they can only send him straight down after claiming if no other team in the NHL puts in a claim when they grab him back. if anyone else puts in a claim at the same time as the coyotes, then he'd have to pass through waivers again to be sent down.
  19. he can't be traded this year, but he can be sent down. he just needs to clear waivers to do so, which would be unlikely.
  20. Utica's own website also says 1993 and shoots right. i wonder if they are both getting their data from the same source, or whether one grabs from the other? anyways i tweeted both of them of the error, it should be resolved... eventually.
  21. that's a very misleading stat, since he usually changes once the other team's line dumps the puck into our end and they change as well. it doesn't mean that they immediately went from the offensive zone to the defensive zone and stayed there the entire shift.
