I basically bought all the games that I wanted myself, and didn't ask for games for Christmas. Although, I did get some money, and I might buy The Last Guardian with it. But.....I still need to keep playing Final Fantasy XV.

Man, &^@# that noise. Working nightshift, I left work at like 5am, drove from Burnaby to Pitt Meadows. The #1 and Mary Hill Bypass were &^@#ed. Nothing was plowed yet and I saw like 3 stuck cars. I thought I was going to get screwed too in my car, but I happily made it home. Not without a lot of worries though. At that time there's not a ton of cars on the road heading opposite the rush hour, so I didn't have a lot of tire marks to follow. That was not fun. Be careful out there today, even if it's plowed now. I saw plows rolling out as I was getting home.

I'll be picking it up 100% eventually. The only reason I don't already have it is because it came out so soon after Final Fantasy. I've been waiting for both of these games for so long. Shadow of the Colossus is basically my favourite game of all time. I don't expect The Last Guardian to be anywhere near the same kind of game, it's probably more like ICO, but I expect I'll really enjoy it.

They literally showed nothing about the game, only a trailer and it doesn't look good? The only thing you can judge from the trailer is the cutscene CGI, which looks amazing.

Yeah, The Last of Us was amazing, and the multiplayer was intense and some of the best multiplayer I've ever played. It changed the game. Can't wait for Part II.

I spent like 20 minutes and just went in with what I had, lol. It's actually decent.

I think I was just on whatever the normal setting was. Although I'd never played XCOM before, and was just winging it, and not knowing wtf I was doing. I should probably just restart it now that I have some kind of info on what I'm supposed to do.

FFXV? You know, at first I wasn't that into it. The combat felt weird and the beginning was so slow. But I guess a lot of FF's are like that. I played a few hours more and now I don't want to stop when I have to.

I need to start playing this again. I was like 20 hours into the game, but it got stupidly difficult for me. Restarting missions over and over again, having my whole squad wiped out starting from scratch. Got to a point where every time somebody died I would just reload that turn. One turn 3 enemies would throw grenades and &^@# up my whole team, but then I reload it and all the enemies miss, so I beat it easily. I should just restart the game.

I had a decent time with it, but ultimately stopped playing. There's too many games out there, and this one kind of took the backburner for me.

It feels so weird that I finally get to play the game that I have been waiting 10 years for. 15 year old me was so excited for Final Fantasy XIII: Versus all those years ago. Now I'll get to play it at age 25 with the name Final Fantasy XV.

McGregor vs Anderson Silva would be cool if it was prime Silva. But I think you mean McGregor vs Alvarez.

Bought Until Dawn with that sale that was on. Just finished it today. Pretty good game, and I had fun with it. There was a couple of parts where it said to keep the controller still in order to survive, so I had it on a table. Twice I got people killed that way. It's funny though, because I had people survive when I was just holding the controller still in my hands. Kind of annoys me. I'll probably play it a couple more times to make everyone die and make everyone survive. Who knows though....FFXV is out soon and so is The Last Guardian, plus I'll be grabbing Titanfall 2 soon.

No kidding. The controllers die so quickly, I wouldn't even complain about wired ones. I mean, it's become a minor hassle having to plug it in so often that I might as well just have a wire permanently. This is for me though, where I game close enough to the TV that I can have it in. You can always get extensions though.

If anyone is interested, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is on sale right now until November 1st. Knocked down to $4.39 from $21.99. It's a 1st person, story driven mystery. Also Kathy Rain is 33% off. Not sure how much it's been on sale before, but 33% off isn't bad. $16.99 down to $11.38. Another mystery kind of game, with great voice acting.

I mean, they already have Skyrim or the remaster gameplay footage in that video, and that's more Bethesda than Nintendo has got in awhile....so it's already better graphically than the Wii U etc. Nintendo's main games are games like Mario, Zelda, etc which aren't some powerhouse graphics kind of games. They have their own beautiful looks which don't require the specs that your Uncharteds, etc require. I think the Switch will be decent. I don't know how much I'll be using the handheld part of it, but it all really boils down to how much support they get by developers. It could be a hit, or it could just fall off. Who knows.

Considering it's going to have Zelda, Mario, Mario Kart, etc etc big Nintendo exclusives, I'll be buying it.

I saw on Reddit that Mad Max's price reduced in the US on the PS Store. It's $30 here on our store, and I'm not sure that's decreased as well, but I bought it anyways because I've heard good things. Man, the game is fun.

I knew there was a two player side to the game, but didn't know it was splitscreen. I remember just playing it online. Yeah, Rocket League is pretty awesome as well.

I think a game like Portal 2 would work. It's not split screen I don't think? But it's a game that definitely gets "non-gamers" into gaming. The Witness is a puzzle game I've heard great things about. From what I hear, it's like a lesser version of Dark Souls.

Man, Reem came out to his old Pride song too. Also had his old haircut. I was so pumped for this fight. Yeah, I think if Reemer gets back to that point he would win. His fight was pretty sloppy. Once Velasquez comes back that will make things a lot more interesting as well.

Reminds me of when he fought Bigfoot Silva. Zero striking defense. I was really hoping for Overeem to finally take home that UFC championship, but I guess I'll have to wait or never get it. It definitely didn't look like the Overeem of the 4 fight win streak. Also I think if he went for GnP instead of the guillotine after knocking down Miocic that he would have had it. Although, I also thought he had the guillotine, because he's finished that way plenty of times.

War Thunder is really good if you get into it. I have too many games that I'm playing to really get invested in War Thunder. Battlefield 1 Open Beta has been really fun though.
