Still getting use to the attitude change from last year to this year of " i hope we win' to "I expect we'll win" "ohhhh what a feeling" 4-2 Nucks -
Looking forward to seeing Fantenburg play along side Stecher. Pretty confident in our depth right now. That being said , Joulevi would be better suited to get in another 10 games at least in Utica. He's on the top PK and PP there , looks good overall , but his D work could still use some more time and urgency on the puck, IMO.

How Do We Manage Hughes's Ice Time So He Doesn't Burn Out?
nuck-lifer replied to Dr. Crossbar's topic in Canucks Talk
Not against resting him on back to backs or when the coach decides, and have Fantenberg step up or whoever our spare is while we're relatively healthy. The philosophy worked for the Raptors with Kawhi Leonard for different reasons and the NHL should adopt this as well. Money plays such a big part of it by showcasing our stars to bums in the seats or fighting for a playoff birth, but if our stars are not performing or getting hurt because they're exhausted that concept fails. Benn and Stecher are a solid pairing as well and while we're healthy their minutes should be bumped. -

right cant afford to take a chance on Schalls again. In 2 years time Edler's salary goes towards Hughes and Pearson / Sutter goes to Pettersson. 3 years if we are still carrying Eriksson which i doubt, his salary and luongo recapture goes to Brock and who ever else. So many moving parts though. Those prospects developing are so important to remain competitive while hanging under the cap. -
I can see both Jake and Ferland both as streaky players. Confidence (or lack there of) for both personalities will provide a roller coaster of performances. They both need a stabilizer like Bo on their line, with Jake in particular as he's night and day from a few games ago. Really think he belongs with Bo and Ferland/ pearson until Rouss comes back in the fold. That I would love to see. Hit- hit again- and again....-pass-shoot - score...
