  1. What we need is the Miller snarl version where he blasts off 5 F bombs that can be heard from the football stadium across the street. That I haven't heard enough of on the ice and at the bench. He was splitting nails last year when things didn't go well and while it may have stressed a few players, we were winning.
  2. I hear you but Stillman / Schenn combined for 35 CA 19 CF and Schenn can't log 20 minutes/ game playing with Hughes Hopefully they can clean that up Poolman/ OEL / Myers pretty solid
  3. Would like to see Rathbone in for Stillman next game. a better partner for Schenn to have a puck mover working on the 3rd pairing. and bring Garland back ffs!
  4. If BB's going to scratch Garland , then Miller should be a no brainer
  5. Nice to have the CHAOS Giraffe in to stabilize our defense... believe it or not.
  6. This team...., this fragile team. Ok so don't score the first 2 goals, don't let them score first, and don't take a 2 goal lead into the third... got it The deja vu to last years Green start is rearing its ugly head and see one of Horvat , Boeser or Garland getting traded soon with our D crumbling
  7. Sounds like BB will be changing up the lines from his presser atleast 2 and 3 so? Garland- Miller Podz- Garly and Podz both playing well at both ends Pearson- Horvat- BB- who knows here but all three can be better
  8. Should have won this game for sure Our PP let us down, but its not like we didn't have chances. Just gotta bury them Our PK was really 75%. they scored when Hughes took the high stick and an empty netter Petey was outstanding, Kuz, Hogs, Pods, Garly, OEL and yes,... even Poolman (68% corsi) had a good game. Having Myers out could be the best thing for him. Lots to like here and we deserved to win, so can't wait for Philly!
  9. Clotheslining Nurse tonight would be a good start for your to do list boys. 4-3 Canucks OT
  10. All you can ask is we out work them and if we lose by 2 goals or less we really won this David / Goliath game Obviously they want to ice a starting lineup on Wednesday and Friday to hit the regular season ready to take the league by storm!!
  11. One of Bennings best signings. Can see Schenner taking a coaching position with this team when he's done playing. Until then keep on keepin on, and hopefully those soft teammates in the D zone follow his example! grrrr
  12. Pearson is Arguably our most underrated/ under appreciated player. Easy to coach, team guy, good PK, simple game to easily roll on different lines, up against other teams top lines/ and normally on the ice the last 2 minutes defending the lead. worth his 3.25M
  13. Don't mind Pearson- Miller - Boeser Pearson is our best defensive forward in the top 9 IMO and played well with Miller end of last year. He would help both Boeser, Miller in the D Zone as they are both higher risk players when it comes to breaking out of their own end
  14. If Rathbone steps into the line up I would like to see Schenn as his partner. Best positioning RD as well as muscle to allow Rathbone to use his skillset. Similar to how he worked out for Hughes. OEL Hughes Dermott Myers Rathbone Schenn Poolman steps in on the left side with Schenn if Rathbone sits.
  15. The great thing is either one of them could carry the 'C' and lead this team well. The fact that we have 2 qualified captains just makes our leadership group stronger. Apparently they're good friends off the ice as well making it easier to support each other on the ice and set the example.
  16. They were absolutely fragile at the end of Greens time. Afraid to lose, afraid to take a penalty, afraid to be scored on, afraid of the media. Who didn't think OMG another penalty , another goal against, another loss. BB was the perfect antidote for a spiraling team, and hopefully he can bring in more structure this year to push those pucks out of the D zone quicker than last year.
  17. So much to be excited about this year! Excellent forward depth and interesting battle for D positions. Expecting Poolman (if healthy) and Dickenson to be more then ready when season opens considering last years performance.
