  1. Lots of things will change, those players will move around lots before June.
  2. Alright, no Edm, Cal, or Tor. I can live with that.
  3. Pretty much it when we play the Sharks or Kings. It's just one big rolling maul.
  4. Tried earlier in the day and got the Canucks, this time it took me 8 tries although I got Phoenix twice, and the Caps once as well.
  5. As long as we don't pick 7th. That would change everything.
  6. So eventually most people will be 20 feet tall? Sami Kapanen - that's why the Canes like him.
  7. Nope, it's the truth. The only person responsible for them not making the playoffs is Mike Gillis and he's gone. Thank goodness Torts has the balls to come out and say it because the core players are spouting off their usual nonsense about still being good enough.
  8. Ehlers sucks. We'd better not waste our pick.

  10. Zooliski Geelus Garron Barroska Stupid Head Stattion Nation
  11. I'm not even worried about beating Edmonton because I'm sure someone is going to make stupid pick before us.
  12. lol on hockey central Doug M: You know what Linden's biggest problem is ... you know what his problem is, he could make them right now. haaa haaa, too true
  13. I would say there is a good chance of this ... well not good but possible, especially if the play Detroit. If the Leafs can take them to 7. Also, most teams are trash in the East, Detroit will show why they are the model franchise for the NHL. Columbus is no slouch either. I'll picking upsets like crazy in the East this year. I love how people make these wild assumptions like Boston should be in the Conference Final for sure. That's short sighted and lacks hockey knowledge. Even the best teams ever couldn't be considered shoo ins for the Conference Final or Cup. Also every team is an injury away from disaster.
  14. I like it a lot. With GM postions there is so much learning involved and such a short tenure that direct experience doesn't always seem necessary. However, unlike MG he has extensive, almost 20 years experience being around running a club. I love that we give another guy a chance. Going off the board is better than some old has been. Especailly a Flames old has been.
  15. Morally lying isn't the best policy but in today's day and age of media with the twitter, facebook, bloggers, and overabundance of horrible writers that are mostly overbearing stalkers I have absolutely no problem with lying to them. Straight up in their face, I couldn't care less. There is no way that the media should be able to ask you a question and then basically say it's a "yes" answer if you refuse comment. If they bend the rules I'm breaking them. Screw them.
  16. Very true. At least I know myself not to be all anxious in a week when the season is over though.
  17. I think that's maybe to get the fans to let off on the immediate expectations and give him breathing room to get acclimated. That way no pressure to make a Feaster type mistake. I suspect he'll try to get it done as possible but will wait if he has too.
  18. Yep, I totally agree. Pretty emotional when he came back in SCF, even if might have been the wrong decision.
  19. Yeah, I like Burrows but you have to have a contigency plan for a undrafted player that's most likely a second or third liner on most teams. That was MG's biggest downfall in the end.
  20. Pretty much. I'm not arguing the point at all really but I've always felt that the events surrounding the 40 year season had a lot do with inspiring our players to all have career years. It felt really special to me anyway. It's possible we weren't quite as talented as we thought.
  21. Like most cup runs it depends on how you look at it and you definitely need some luck on the way.
