  1. Hughes got 4 Leaf players on him and non of the Canucks there to support him.
  2. the Canucks are shocked why the Leafs are pressuring them instead of letting them set up on the PP.
  3. FFS!!!!!! we must lead the &^@#ing league in players getting hit in the face with pucks.
  4. Reilly's got such a punchable face. I still haven't forgotten his hit on Henrik.
  5. Benning and Weisbrod in the building looking like Mob Bosses. someone's getting wacked tonight if we lose
  6. Jake for DeBrusk would be great, gives us some finish in the 3rd line. I'd also shop Gaud around for a playmaking center. the bottom 6 lacks creativity, too many of the same players.
  7. the teams start will say a lot of about the locker room. If we come out lifeless again, Green has been tuned out.
  8. Edmonton Armpits of Canada Edmonton Frozen Tundra Edmonton Potholes Edmonton Wasteland Edmonton Mall
  9. we don't need them! DiPeitro and Rathbone will take us to the promise land.
  10. but we're getting the bearded version! much wiser.
  11. but Boston loves physical players (Jake physical hehehe) so hopefully they are still in love with WJC Jake lol apparently DeBrusk is weak along the boards but he's a much better finisher at the NHL level than Jake.
  12. he was great in surrounding our core players with productive role players.
  13. and I didn't like his treatment of Bearchi too
  14. I voted for Gillis in the polls too.. lol I wonder if the Aquailinis would welcome him back to fix the cap or has that bridge been burnt? I was a Gillis hater lol but one thing you couldn't deny was his teams were tough to play against. Alberts, Torres, Lappy, Rome, Ballard, Hamhuis etc. I wish we had half of the toughness the 2011 team had.
  15. Green was a good coach for this team when we we're going through the growing pains of the rebuild inserting youth into the lineup. But now that our club looks ready to take the next step, I don't think he is the right coach to take group to the next level. the thing that made AV successful here was he was he was able to coach a stingy defensive system then transitioned to a more offensive system when the guys matured. I'm seeing Petey kinda plateauing this season, same with Hughes. I don't know if coaching has anything to do with that but Petey has lost some of his killer instinct. Rookie Petey was an offensive threat whenever he stepped on the ice, but now he's more concerned about his defence than being a finisher these days. We've got some of the best young players in the league but I don't think their skills are being utilized properly with Green's system. Look at Schmidt for example, the Schmidt in Vegas was a totally different defenceman than the one playing under Green.
