Edler's a vet and leader on this team, was +3 last year playing over 24 mins a game, signed a short term contract which usually means a slight bump in pay. Outscored Hutton 2:1.
Hutton showed some progress last year after regression following his rookie year, but not really enough to warrant a huge bump in pay. Good guy and likable but doesn't bring the same intangibles as a 13 year Canuck vet. -23 playing 22 mins a game and put up just over half the points Edler did.
