Well yeah obviously that is an option... I'm saying if you are going to live in Van, then just split rent.. it's pretty simple. People who are allocating $2,000 of their own monthly salary to rent as the poster mentioned probably are making $150k...

Split rent with someone..

What Guaranteed Draft Position? With Simulators, Current #8
'NucK™ replied to TheGuardian_'s topic in Canucks Talk
My first attempt at it.. Aside from Colorado getting the 1st thanks to Ottawa's incompetence, I'd be happy with those results! -
(Signing)Mark Stone ext. 8 years AVV 9.5 mil
'NucK™ replied to Wayne Glensky's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Well yeah I can't say it doesn't seem like an overpay. It's worth noting that he could have tested free agency though and probably have gotten the same. I think Vegas just knew that and decided they were willing to pay the price. Stone final year of his ELC (2014-2015): 26G-38A in 80GP. Got a $3.5M AAV for 3 years starting in 2015-16. -

Strong on the puck when he has it maybe. I'm talking about fore-checking and retrieving pucks. And yes I watch the games and have lost count of how many times he has peeled off when he has had opportunities to disrupt a play or lay the body. I don't know how you can possibly argue that Stone's $76M contract could be used as a comparable next year for Brock. -

Boeser would seriously have to up his defensive game for Stone to be considered a comparable.. would be nice if he didn't shy away from contact too. -
I did that once

Gudbranson NOW officially The WORST PLAYER in the League
'NucK™ replied to RU SERIOUS's topic in Canucks Talk
oldnews probably STILL thinks Gudbranson's +/- stat is meaningless and that he is actually a good d-man.. -
Ah, I didn't think about the fact they wouldn't be able to go to arbitration. Bo's contract should be even more of a benefit then. I think everyone knows what he brings to the team and considers him as a leader, so I feel intrinsically many will follow suit and sign a bargain contract. Gaudette is a solid player but probably a ways from a payout. Which isn't a bad thing. I could see his contracts following a similar path to Virt's. Pettersson will be interesting as he has to reup on the last year of Loui's $6M deal.. will he be convinced to sign a 2 year bridge because of that and then cash in on his next contact?? Not something you see often with a player of his caliber, but may work a lot better for the team.
-
Well arbitration would look league wide if a player decided to go that route. But, it's very likely most guys won't do that and so Bo's discounted contract will help the team in negotiations.
-
Goldy scores 20. Dahlen scores 3 in 6 games at end of year, all assisted by Pettersson. Hughes only plays 25 games but puts up 15 points.

2018-19 Dobber Prospect Rankings - Canucks Move into No. 4 Spot
'NucK™ replied to Rob_Zepp's topic in Prospects / Farm Team
Tryamkin they actually mention in the text and under "other notable prospects" -
I know @Odd. takes most of the credit, but I'd like to think I played a part in @Where'd Luongo?'s post (that has actual substance) at the top of this page..
-
Actually yes I'm pretty sure I did in the thread where you didn't want the 3 new FAs on the team.. Feel free to post it. It would be a nice change to actually see what you are proposing rather than reading one liners hating on everyone else's thoughts.
-
Actually that is the ONLY reason that you've given..
-
From what I have gathered, @Where'd Luongo? doesn't want Gaudette, Schaller, Roussel or Beagle on the team. Therefore his ideal starting lineup would look something like Baer-Horvat-Boes Pettersson-Gagne-Goldy Granlund-Sutter-Ericksson Leipsic-Motte-Virtanen THAT is a lineup that would get "owned" as you would say.
-
So what else is is then?? It was literally the only thing you said from what I can see.. Then when @VancouverFan summarized your comments ("You were just talking like he doesn't deserve to be in the NHL based on his point totals in 5 games"), you claim that you never said that. I know everyone here just says you're trolling but there must be a deeper meaning to this nonsense.
-
But why did the writer expect it to be in the 3rd or 4th round? From what I read, they talk about the 45 player list and then at the end out of the blue say "if a centre is taken in the 3rd or 4th round..". I don't follow the logic..
-
Why does this article state it would be their third or fourth-round pick? The 45 player list would encompass all 217 players available..
-
Would be #4 then. Probably was Dahlin, Svech, Kotka, Hughes
-
I was at the last draft in Vancouver and although I don't remember the exact details, tickets were ~$20 and I don't think it was sold out. I wouldn't fret too much about not being able to get tickets.

No need to worry, Tryamkin is ineligible (ie. don't have to use a spot to protect him) Source:
