SAG-AFTRA actors strike - apparently one of the beefs I heard was that most of them are living pay cheque to pay cheque and only the top 1% are making money. Umnnn, isn't that like the same as other industries? I personally know maybe 2 or 3 people that are NOT living pay cheque to pay cheque.

Despite whatever is in our food/drink/water. People are taking better care of themselves. I'm seeing people in their 60s and 70's that look like late 40's early 50's 30 years ago. My Dad the only way you could tell was by his gut and his thinning hair line when he was in his 50's. My brother at almost 63 looks in far better shape than my Dad at 63. And he's fighting cancer.
I think we want to be healthy, and youthful, but live a full life.
It's a pity I can't send a message to me at age 16 and make some better choices. Like take a trade.

Getting old isn't for wimps. How will you know when you are getting old? When you begin to worry that every ache and pain is only the beginning of some life threatening downward spiral into infirmity and death. You'll also feel old when young folks in stores, restaurants and other businesses think because you have grey hair and a few wrinkles, that you are somehow stupid and need to be told things in a way you'd tell a six-year old. Sometimes I just would like to say "Kid, I've forgotten sh** you don't even know yet."
