Calling someone a homophobe because they don't wear a pride jersey is hate. Don't get me wrong, I agree that all players should wear them to show unity, for the opposite is also true - just because you're wearing one at an event that your employer is putting on does not mean you are for it. But it definitely is the right thing to do (wear one - I would).

So, your answer to the solution is to do to those that don't participate the same thing that those that hate on LGBT??? Sorry, IMHO (and others) that's just as wrong. Calling someone names because they won't wear a Pride jersey is part of the same problem. Last I checked this is a "free" country and people should be free to participate or not and not have to give a reason. Now, if they were spewing hateful messages about others (like you) then that is wrong.

I don't see it as weird at all. Some people, like me, measure on results. Have you ever been in Sales? "I almost sold 10 cars today" - yeah, but Wilson sold 1 - so he's on the top of the leaderboard - not you. Yes, all sports are "entertainment", and the Canucks have been entertaining plenty of times, but for me now at my age, "you're either first or you're last!". (apologies to Breakfast Club fans).

Don't know if people are really arguing, for myself, it's just about 45 years of disappointment. We've only been to the dance 3 times in all those years I have been a fan, and we lost. I hope the 4th time we finally come out a winner - whenever that will be... You're right, no one here has any say in which direction this team goes.

I'm so happy that we're 23rd! We're 8-2 the last 10 games with 10 games left - if we go 8-2 those ones, we may get to 21st or even 20th in the league! That would be so great! Next year, maybe we might even squeak into the playoffs!

I must say, I am very impressed with Kuzmenko, reminds me a bit of Bure.

Man, if Bure played in today's NHL - he would easily get 75 goals. Bure is my fav Canuck player all time, but McDavid is a more complete player.
