Canucks 2022 Young Stars Tourney Thread
rizzuto&hatoum replied to CRAZY_4_NAZZY's topic in Prospects / Farm Team
Just logged in. Good win but I have to ask how many 22 year olds were dressed by the opposition? -
That Harvard defence in Rathbone's first year consists (top 4 anyways) of Fox, Marino, Walsh and Rathbone. Not bad. BTW, Walsh did not play together with him last year in Utica. (JR in Abby)

Mike Bossy was also drafted 15th in 1977. With his wrist shots, I'm getting major Bossy vibes. Although JL seems much faster. In fact, on some of the highlights, the camera couldn't catch up to him.

[Signing] Canucks sign Filip Johansson
rizzuto&hatoum replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Decided not to read past the first 4 pages but my the vibe I get is Philip Larsen. -
Eventually add Rathbone to PP1 - Rathbone with his shot replacing EP40, who will replace Miller, who'll be traded.

2021-22 Abbotsford Canucks Thread

It's Playoff time - you need stout and robust players on your 3rd and 4th lines. Woo can rumble, Klim unproven at that. -

How can the Condors be outshooting the Nucks? Aren't their best players the Black Aces on the Oilers? -
I say if Torey Krug can make it, so can Rathbone. Krug was similar size at the start of his career, now he's 205 lbs and imo, Rathbone can be better than Krug.

Watching that clip, media is not doing their homework. They could have asked about Kuzmenko and what kind of player he is since they were teammates at SKA last year.

Does the AHL still have the veterans rule? If so, who are they? With the additions from Vancouver for the playoffs, I'm assuming a few vets would need to sit out -
Good game tonight but I think he needs to work on his puck retrievals on shoot ins.
-
Then that Harvard D had Fox, Rathbone, Marino and Walsh that year. (I just noticed that Marino never played in the AHL)

That Harvard defense during Rathbone's first year was quite decent - Fox, Marino, Rathbone.

Wouldn't he be in the same position next year as Lockwood was last year (signing after a 4 yr college career)?
-
Didn't they do this last year for a bit?

I believe someone was saying the 53% FO guy is another Linus Karlsson.
-
After Abby, then what? Summer in Russia or Vancouver?
-
Vesey also. Only one you could say that got away and turned out great was Fox. All others were journeymen-types.
-
Decent face off man. PK'er.
