    Kearns was no defensive dynamo. I remember fans slagging him a lot. Hughes > Kearns , offensively and defensively. Kearns was 5'8".

    Yes, I remember Marino was on the Harvard D when Rathbone was initially paired with Fox. Later on they may have played together.

    I agree. Petey is not a superstar. Even in his good years, he was never a point-a-game player. Close but not quite. As for Boldirev - he played behind Gradin and sometimes Hlinka. He didn't get prime PP time.

    Ivan Boldirev was a very good player but he was no superstar yet has similar stats as Petey.

    I hope they bring up Rathbone soon cause I got a bad feeling he'll be traded away as I never got to see much of Rathbone's play in his previous tour of NHL duty.

    Maybe in recent years they haven't prioritized RHD but sprinkled throughout the years, they have drafted Guevremont, Dailey, Lanz, Petit, Butcher, in the first round. Maybe their lack of success (all were traded away) at drafting RHDs caused them to draft for other positions. Or they had bad scouting.

    I wonder what was Hoglander's stat line after 20 games last year? How does one even get hold of stats like that without going through a lot of work?

    Did Datsyuk kill penalties? If he did, then why can't EP40 kill penalties? Maybe even block a few shots to help the team.

    I can see Hoglander finishing the year with higher point totals than EP40.

    IMO, based on the first couple pre-season games so far, we could see a line of Podz/Focht/Lockwood in Abby.
