  1. Ha! again he was really good in that and I enjoyed the movie. His interactions with the female cast were flawless.
  2. Total freak. i will check that doc out. Thanks. Was actually joking yesterday with a friend about TC - saying he was actually an 800 year old vampire. edit btw "Tom cruise apologist". Lol! Great song or band name.
  3. That's just the thing. hes the ultimate cheeseball but so awesome at the same time. Personally if I met him I wouldn't know if I wanted to go for drinks or put him in a choke hold. Seriously though his movies are very entertaining. Top Gun is one of my favourite all time movies for all the right and wrong reasons. Still quote lines to this day.
  4. How can you not? buncha useless ingrates!
  5. Absolutely. that first trip in euro in 95 I turned 19 while I was there backpacking around. You meet so many people all ages all walks of life. I was exposed to a lot of music I never considered. this song I mean it's not my go to genre to say the least but at the time I was in a rented car with some other strangers/new friends cruising the French Riviera. The song, that music, absolutely perfect for the sun, the beach, the girls, la citroens.
  6. It's ok. We all have them. Funny that mine are britpop bands too: pulp the white lies ive been to the uk a couple times. 1995,1996 and 2004. back in 95'96 all I heard was wonder wall and everyone fought over who was better: oasis or blur. I literally remember seeing public bathroom graffiti along the lines of "blur are tosspots" etc. So funny. youre right about nostalgia. I worked the restaurants and bartended back on those trips and the one bar had a juke box and I always played common people by pulp, joy divisions love will tear us apart and franz Ferdinand's take me out. not condemning you for your Noel affextions. It just seemed that all the obnoxious drunk Brits liked oasis so maybe it's a hate by association thing.
  7. how so? Just an obnoxious Brit to me whose band sucked.
  8. Lol just had a 2.5 week break. Didn't quite gain 15 but noticed the beer and smokies around the mid section. but it's gone already after two weeks of work and exercise. gotta live! Right?
  9. This I know. But 1.) that's just extra plastic and 2.) it's the lids, that somehow always drop from where they fasten to the cup.
  10. His face. His posture on the ice. if I remember correctly I heard him make some cheap comments toward an injured player skating by the bench back in the rivalry days which the Hawks. hes just one of the guys on my list id punch out if I made it to the show. (Partly because I know I could take him lol) others on my list would lump me out but I'd still go for it. Especially for that money.
  11. I could see it but he has to be on top of his game and the writing has to be good. Most of the time He doesn't seem natural to me if that makes sense.
  12. @Monty @SILLY GOOSE opinion of the true grit remake? I thought it was great.
  13. I absolutely love spaghetti westerns. It's hard to pick a fav in that trilogy but I have to go with TGTBaTU. The outlaw josie Wales although not a spag west is one of my favs too. westerns in general. imo the trilogy is ahead of its time. You can see the influences in modern movies today especially Tarantino. i have watched these movies since I was a kid. On a slightly deeper level, my dads heroes as a kid were Cowboys in the old films and these ones. We used to watch them together on the odd rainy Saturday afternoon. So watching this genre helps me remember him. Even the soundtrack to TGTBaTU can take me back. I have it in its entirety on my phone and regularly listen to it.
  14. Fair point to some degree though I'm not sure how expansive mkw's character can be considering the context. Besides its not as if it was just a couple a guys hangin out in a tree fort. Freddy still nearly beat a man to death over a phone biz competition and slit another's throat. These actions could still leave the viewer thinking that nas wasn't/isn't completely safe.
  15. @Salmonberries ah yes you got me to put on some Neil. Some of the most honest and beautiful music ever.
