  1. Starting to dabble in isometrics and time under load routines. What I like most is the breathing discipline required and the ability to attempt overcoming panic once the imminent failure occurs. Well, actually what I like most is I won’t get hurt.
  2. I can’t even bother to assess or judge until the playoffs.....and that basically applies to everything. This is a young team - well, a young top 6. Let’s see how the “system” fares vs a knights or jets team in the post season.
  3. Seeing Gauds in the box with an irreversible grin on his face after a fight is one of my favourite moments of the year. Not into violence for violence sake but hockey is hockey.
  4. “Don’t believe the hype” -flava flav
  5. I agree to some extent. There are definitely some questionable songs that written or performed by anyone probably wouldn’t be that great. But I can’t agree that anyone else other than the drug and booze addled stones could deliver albums like: exile on main street sticky fingers Let it bleed beggars banquet obviously subjective but I really enjoyed the sometimes sloppy imperfect elements to those albums mixed with the perfect ones. and yeah, poaching Ron wood from the faces was arguably the best move they ever made as a band. edit and of course I don’t want to see or hear any of that performed now.
  6. Wow. Please tell me the Schaller experiment is over. No different than a bad trip. Total failure.
  7. Not a fan of the pc disease either but I can’t agree with your assessment of the Sedins as not being tough. were they aggressive? No tough? Yes. there is a significant difference. to have the iron man streak that henrik achieved whilst facing the heaviest of dman opposition is enough for me. There are many examples of Sedins toughness. I specifically remember Daniel having his mout obliterated in LA only to come back and win it in overtime, scoring within in the crease area - mouth full of fresh blood and stitches. i get where you’re coming from but honestly I’d rank the Sedins as some of the toughest athletes to play in the nhl. they simply were not mean or aggressive....ever. And often those aspects are required to achieve.
  8. He doesn’t give guys the option and has shown as such. That’s what we need. Hurt our guys and I will destroy you no matter who or what size you are or aren’t.
