I should have been more clear in my post.
Watching the game and seeing the hit my first impressions were: direct headshot to a player in a vulnerable position. . But seeing it again im not convinced the head was targeted or was the initial point of contact. Was he vulnerable? Yes. Was there contact to the head? Yes.
I also feel there was some responsibility of Burr to be more aware in that situation. And this may sound crazy to some here but im not so sure that burrs change in head direction before his body wasnt a result of the body's natural instinct/reaction to turn away from an impact.
My post probably sounds worse to you now but its just my take.
FuRther to my second point; the non response by the team with the score in hand was disappointing and inexcusable. Burr has the back of every mate, every time.
Imo the head contact was incidental and im ok with it in a league where discipline is consistent. ...which doesnt seem to be a part of the nhl.
Im not ok with us going up 5-1 and nobody tuning up Nino.
Lol
Right.Because their physicality and ability to roll four lines, depth at centre, depth in scoring, the performances of doughty voynov andgreen, and coaching had nothing to do with it.
