Are you guys even watching the Wolves games? I have watched maybe 80% of them and Schroeder has been a non factor in almost all of them. He's been getting his chance playing with talented players, but he just doesn't look like the player we saw in the preseason.
However, I do understand your need to stay positive, and I do hope he turns things around.
I have watched all but two games. One wasn't televised and the other was a blowout.
I completely and vehemently disagree. Schroeder has been a factor in just about every game and he is developing into a good two-way player. He generates at least 3-4 good offensive chances per game this season. He was first with Archibald and Oreskovich to start the season and they had a lot of chances, then he was moved to wing with Mancari which was okay, but Mancari was playing center and he even said he wasn't comfortable there and that Schroeder was almost too fast for him. Since Schroeder's been playing with Rodin, he has been absolutely outstanding, offensively and defensively (but really he has been great defensively just about the entire season). Rodin and him have shown great chemistry together; their cycle and transition game is very good. They are both fast and can keep up with each other really well. Defensively, Schroeder has been a revelation. In position, always ready to support forwards and defensemen, and gets into passing lanes. Had about 4 takeaways last game. And in the past 3 games, he has been a fixture on the PK and has looked superb. Has been aggressive on the puck carrier and using his skating to force turnovers. Had about 3 rushes going the other way shorthanded in just one game.
The only thing he needs to do is keep scoring. With the amount of chances he generates, they are bound to come. The only way he has struggled is in getting the results, which is what seems to only mattter to some. His effort has not faltered.

No, there have not been any pre-season games since the 10th, which is why there are probably no updates. And for those who care, Andersson's next game is on the 17th and since most of the prospects from the Q are in the tournament, there is almost no news from their fronts as well.

it gives a dirty translation, but you get the point for the most part.
Apparently Järnkrok, Silfverberg, and Rödin were very impressive all game long and should have had a lot more goals based on the opportunities they created. It's sounding really good right now.
That's because they are playing an Allsvenkan team, not only that, a 09/10 last place Allsvenkan team. They had to requalify to this league or be demoted. That is equivalent to an AHL team being demoted to the ECHL. They lost the deciding match but was let back in based on an opening, not by merit. Not exactly the best competition or particularly a challenge.
And the coach had some terrible words to say about the level of competition they faced. He said it wasn't even fair and that he got absolutely nothing from the match, it was that poor.
Today against Timrå should be a better match as they are an SEL team and Brynas is actually dressing a full roster, unlike the 16 they had yesterday.

Does anyone know how tall Jordan Schroeder actually is? According, to EP he is 5'8" they are usually pretty reliable.
I know many people can say this, but i am 5'7"1/2 and i met Schroeder and he was just slightly taller than me (about 1/2 - 1 inch). We were both in shoes so I think that measurement is fairly accurate, based on the pictures i have.

can Rodin not sign a ATO with the Moose and join them for the stretch run
if hes still on contract with Brynas, Canucks can just compensate them and get them to loan Rodin to Manitoba
Since Brynas has been eliminated, Rodin is playing now with the Brynas J20 team, who are in the playoffs. So he is still playing and getting playing time.

I love this thread. It will live on in CDC when we are seniors and we will say, "Do we really need him?" Then we will all chuckle until our dentures fall out and our heart machines go haywire.
I think what is especially funny is that the OP, clutch came out of hiding in the middle of march and still would not admit he was wrong and still tried to reason a way that burrows was still not worth it. We need another clutch sighting, ASAP. Is anyone going to Calpuck to find him??
