I truly dislike BLM because I have spent thousands of hours helping minority communities. I worked with minority communities in San Fransico and Vancouver’s DTES In the Canadian aboriginal community where there is tremendous disparity, we have long discussions on healing, family building, cultural values, education values, etc, on top of fixing systemic biases against them in healthcare and policing. BUT for some absolutely stupid reason, we cannot have any discussion beyond systemic biases when it comes to the African American community. If you want to talk culture, family, education, you would be call a racist by BLM. If you want to solve black on black crime which is the number 1 cause of preventable black deaths, you are a racist. You can only talk about bad cops. Your naive misinformed good intentions only hurt the black community. Moreover, BLM website and founders have stated they are a Marxist movement. That they are against a nuclear family and capitalism. It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing and everyone bought it.

This is the problem. No one thinks he should have been shot 7 times in the back. It’s a tragedy. At the same time, many can understand resisting arrest, fighting officers, disobeying orders with guns drawn on you, reaching into your car and the cop has no idea what you are getting, will likely lead to a terrible outcome no matter the race. How is closing games effective? How is rioting going to solve anything?

Unbelievably disappointed by the leagues decision. I have been working with disparate minority communities in both Canada and the States and I loath the black lives matter movement. This garbage movement has set back minorities decades and actually doesn’t give a shat about minority we’ll being. Hate police brutality? Let’s talk funding more police training, reforming police unions that protects bad cops, and better recruitment. But nope!!! let’s defund the police, antagonize them and riot. This have hurt and will hurt minority neighborhood. Hate disparity? Let’s talk about culture, valuing education, supportive family structure, and improving community safety... but nope!!! According to BLM website, let’s dissolve the nuclear family, kill capitalism and blame everyone else. tragedy
