  1. You are contradicting yourself there aren't you? FTR I agree with your first argument. Especially in regards to the Sedins. If nothing else they, and their bodies, have gotten used to playing the rationed minutes that AV gave them. That's what kept them fresh enough to win scoring titles.
  2. We deserve to be the ones ahead 1-0. But as usual the Hockey Gods have no mercy for the Canucks. I just hope there isn't too many PP for either side. It really seems to mess with any flow we have. We are confused when we have one more player than they do on the ice.
  3. A little late to comment on this but Lu has to make that first stop. All we needed was to give Boston even more confidence against us.
  4. So now Higgins is injured???? so lets see: Santorelli: out for the season Bieksa: out with a foot injury Tanev: out with injury Weber: out with injury Henrik: playing injured, can't even take faceoffs Daniel: still effected by his Keith concussion. Burrows: still getting back to speed from multiple injuries and now Higgins?!!! The one sparkplug we have left? This is not going to be pretty tonight. Masochists only. Bandwagoners need not watch. At least the board and GDT will load fast. Edit: Add Hamhuis to the list. He's a scratch tonight.
  5. One goal. Is that too much to ask? Then we'd have had a good chance to win it in the shoot out with Lack playing the way he is. But I guess it was too much to ask. This is getting just plain weird. December we are world beaters, now we suck puck. Henrik back.....no difference Torts back......no difference Burr...no difference I liked what we did on that California trip DESPITE losing. I don't know why we didn't just go for broke and keep playing with that new tough identity. I know the league was shocked because we weren't playing our usual patsy role and so they had to show us they wouldn't allow it. But we should have played through it, even if there were more 7 minute penalties. Eventually the refs would get tired of holding their arms up. To me it felt like we were entering a new phase. With the Sedins on the downswing, we were learning to play a more grinding bulldog way. Instead, after California, Sestito and the fourth are basically benched. Back to the same old game plan, whatever it is....I'm not sure the players even know anymore. I was hoping the Northwest Seahawk winning energy might rub off on them. i guess not.
  6. If this team can't win this for Lack...then....I'm lost for words
  7. Well good god we wouldn't want to be nursing a lead going into the third again, that would definitely spell disaster. yeah I'm cynical tonight.
  8. I hate bad calls as much as anyone. And I retain my right to scream bloody murder in the GDT. And I beleive that there is a small minority of more veteran refs, who chummed around with Auger, like Sutherland and Devorski, that still hold a grudge and that won't end until they retire. BUT for the most part its whining over nothing. But there is one thing that would end all the conspiracy theories and GDT b#%&ing and moaning......and that is SCORE MORE GOALS! I remember games in the past when a Devorski would slap penalty after penalty on us, laughing under his breath, but it didn't matter because WE SCORED GOALS to offset them all the time. Easier said than done, but jeez luoise guys. Follow the lead of the fourth line. Enough of the pretty passing plays, the never-ending cycles. Crash the net!
  9. Whew. At least we got out of that PP without getting scored on.
  10. Right in the crest David. Good to see those hunting adventures paying off.
  11. Congratulations Seattle and the Seahawks! There will be clouds of celebration smoke hanging over Seattle tonight! ........and clouds over Denver to forget
  12. You're living in the past Ghost
  13. Kind of bitter sweet for Vancouver fans watching Seattle win a major championship. Where's ours?
  14. He'll be asking for big raise for next year.
  15. I wonder what Vegas was paying for a 35+ point shutout?
  16. True, no one wants a bandwagoner, but it'll be a cold day in hell when a bandwagoner influences me and drains my support for my team. That just.....silly. Just learn to ignore them
  17. Wow. I guess you are hoping the Canucks never do well again, and gawd forbid they ever win a Stanley Cup. They'd have so many bandwagoners it would make you sick, eh?
  18. Well that's gotta be a kick in the knickers
