  1. Come on you should know that there are so many things that need to be factored in.
  2. Ya and I'm sure that was extremely tough, also they were drafting the twins so it's a bit different. I personally think adding the third pick would cost more then it's worth in a draft that doesn't have much top end talent. A high 2018 pick would be much better or settling for a mid first rounder that won't cost us an arm and a leg.
  3. Oh for sure, but I just wonder why he didn't crack buttons top 30. You really have dislike a player to keep him outa your top 30 when they are in most scouts top 10
  4. Hmm Craig button didn't seem to like Virtanen lol
  5. Honestly Hutton needs to prove more. I personally don't think his value is high at all.
  6. Never would buffalo do that haha If we could move Hutton for Reinhart straight up then we wouldn't blink an eye.
  7. Rasmussen at 6 as well. I just don't see that happening.
  8. That would leave a lot of good options in round two.
  9. No I totally agree with you, but as a basement team if we have a 19 yo guy coming in and putting the puck in the net he will stay regardless of other troubles. May sit on the bench a lot though.
  10. Totally agree but if he is producing then it's hard to justify a send down
  11. Silly questions get silly answers. Relax.
  12. Ya Vilardis skating is a bit rougher, I find his other skill set will help translate his below average skating to the NHL level. Picking so high makes me want to go the safe route (glass/vilardi/hesk).... Necas, Makar and Liljegren scare me for that reason but I'd be happy with whoever we get honestly.
  13. Not amazing speed though, his skating isn't great. That's why I'd be concerned about him putting on too much weight. People saying he will be 6'4 220lbs.....its insanity.
  14. Relax, I meant we as in cdc. With his struggles people are just hoping that he can plug himself into the lineup and be effective whether it's line 1 or line 4. Even as a call up. I'm not saying he's hopeless in any way.
  15. Ya, I was pretty confused when Virt and McCann made it but Boeser seems much more prepared psychologically.
  16. If he's ready, he's ready. We will find out at camp.
  17. He had a big year last year. He won't ever be the best player from that draft lol but he has potential still.
  18. At this point we will take anything as long as he isn't hurting the team.
  19. Star potential but also possibly the riskiest pick amongst the top ranked players besides Makar but even then I prefer Makar. Wouldn't be upset regardless however.
  20. There's just so many decent prospects ranking from 12-60. It can honestly go some many different ways. I'm excited for this draft because it isn't so predictable.
  21. Avs seem pretty focused on just BPA, don't be surprised if they go with a C.
