    Most mock drafts actually had us taking Juolevi if I remember correctly.

    With much more talent, drive and top end vision. Skating and size are similar I suppose but come on lol matthias put up 34pts in his draft year while Vilardi posted great numbers and carried his team (he's also one of the youngest in the draft class. He's a good prospect.

    No, just no. Have you ever watched him play? So far from backes lol and what on earth makes people think he is gonna grow that big. Sure his family is big but come on..... Let's come back down to earth. With that being said, I still wouldn't mind drafting him but he is so far from backes..

    Green will not be handing out free candy. He needs to earn a spot and he has not done that. He would have to have one amazing camp to do so.

    People are stubborn and biased. They make up their minds on who they like and dislike and that's it. Everyone here should be happy if we got glass, Vilardi or middelstadt. They are all quality prospects and Vancouver has pro scouts looking into it way more than us fans.

    Ya and that's always been the issue with the CHL. Ya I'd like to see him play with some of our other prospects. He needs to take more responsibility with his preparation... Can't hold his hand through his career.

    Well that's what the ahl is for, unfortunately Jake skipped a step that he needed. NHL coaches don't have time for making sure certain players get special treatment. He needed the ahl, that's what they do down there. Thankfully he spent a year with green there, another full season will do him good (given the right coach).

    Well keep in mind no one should ever draft assuming a players height will increase, it's possible for sure but at 18 years old its not something anyone should bank on.

    I just don't see them stacking D like that, they will develop better as a team with talent at all positions. But it does seem interesting having all three of them haha

    I would be pretty bummer if we brought in Kane. If we are building a character team then we should commit to that.

    Offensive production is very far from an issue, in fact it is on of his bright spots. He was constantly cycling through linemates all year and remained the most consistent player on the team, started the season slow due to an injury and exploded after Christmas. Speed is good but accel is what he needs to work on, much like Horvat when he was drafted.

    Woah man. Relax. Gotta just let them develop... All of them still need to actually make the nhl first.

    He's so solid, excited to see him in the ahl next year. His offence took off (on an amazing team however), still impressive

    Maybe with our second rounder. But there is a big list of players I'd prefer if available.

    No iv thought about it a bit, still sticking with my original comment. It's all opinions anyways, I wouldn't be upset adding another first but I still believe patience would pay off.
