Let's establish a few determined variables, for context. By mid-Feb, the PO's appear a long-shot. Van Mgt get the sense that McDonough doesn't really want to come north. It also looks like JT miller will head east for a nice futures-pkg. Van: Connor Garland, Rathbone & McDonough Bos: Jake Debrusk, Zboril & 2022 1st r pick First, from our pov, not sure if this is enough? My guess is the Bruins would love to bring in 3 local guys. Thus, they could overpay. For Rathbone, his compelling family matter makes me accept dealing to Boston,(a team I detest) would be an admirable gesture. His bud AM, would surely follow. We would take on 2 chunks of Beantown's 2015 1st rd travesty. However we also gain cap space, & a 1st I'd guesstimate would land around 20th OA. One can often land a large, dependable defender in such a range. With Debrusk, we land a LW who'd gain us a certain fan in the TV media-realm. Admittedly, I like his old man's CC work. edit: Wanna emphasize, have no idea what McDonough might do. Suggesting this on a hypothetical, IFFF Mgt get a sense he might not wanna play here.(before folks freak out that I'm presuming this/that etc...) If he is eager to play in Van, then would switch in some other asset.

The riggeddeckleague wants Hogtown & 15 US teams in the PO's. Players will go through the motions to limit escrow losses. -
Y'oughta' be arrested @J.I.A.H.N for pushing a 100% pure & perfect product! Ain't that something else? I wonder if SRV & Albert made that jam video around the same time?

Always loved Lennon's work, & felt he could magically capture the moment, writing tunes his autobiographical way. He would've been such an interesting artist to keep tabs on as he got old. Have discovered a lot of great old tunes with Utube. We didn't have the bux to buy a gazillion albums back then - one was often at the mercy of the AM/FM playlist. Yest was listening to "Layla & Assorted Love Songs". My word, the guitar-brilliance of EC & Duane Allman on that album! Before that, heard Hendrix's 15 m live of Voodoo Chile. Society will never produce musicians/tunes again, as it had 5 decades back. Randomly, albums I like listening to on Utube(tho most got taken down) Joni Mitchell ..Hejira Lennon..Plastic Ono Band Badfinger ..Straight Up Dave Mason..Alone Together Ronnie Lane..Anymore For Anymore (or "Rough Cuts", w/Pete Townshend) Townshend ..Empty Glass Janis..Pearl Eddie Boyd & Fleetwood Mac ..7936 South Rhodes TRex ..Electric Warrior, or "The Slider" Lastly, maybe the BEST F***ing thing on Utube is a 90 m jam with SRV & Albert King!!! It was recorded late 1983 in Hamilton Ontario. Good Lord it's something.

Appears the Canucks are ahead of the curve. Best of luck to EC(hopefully as successful & lengthy a career as Eric Clapton - sorry, can't type those initials without thinking of the guy!) Let's hope all the new hires work in perfect concert to bring us to the promised land. GCG!!! -

His old man was a tough hombre. I'd prob be down for a claim, & then waive Hunt. -
Haven't been driving for about 23 yrs. Sure DON'T miss it. Of course things aren't spread out in sub/ & urban Japan, as they are back home. Also really love cycling. Have learned to carry a crap-tonne, grocery order from Costco(1 hr ride). Sometimes resemble the Grinch ascending Mt Crumpet. As above^, also buzz my hair at home(almost 3 decades now). No smart phone - hate that shyte 1 credit card Japan's a $ society. Hope it never changes..but I guess it'll eventually be imposed(?) A library card(but this helped me more yrs back..seems hard to concentrate on books these dAZE) Chess is good if one is broke(mental exercise too) Speaking of exercise, outdoors is ideal(if poss). Hiking & cycling are a great combo Shelve the Casanova-crap :^) find a lass/dude who thinks like you. KISS theory baby Find an honest, creative hobby(eg: writing, guitar, language whatever) & try to apply the 10,000 hr theory If you enjoy a drink, discipline yourself to go dry 50% of the time. No, 2 hrs on/off doesn't count! Time & money are one & the same - try not to squander too much

So the Laffs visiting the suddenly lifeless Isles?! Apparently Cappy Tavares has sought team-permission to loudly chant, "I DON'T NEED YOUSE!" for his 43 mins, not out skating. Stay tuned boppers... -
Good morning from Osaka, & it's onto the 2nd cup of beans. Just scanned a few pages, wondering if there were mention(of the 3 a?).. That would be the 3 amigos. Get the vibe that EP, QH & Brock are solid bros who all wanna play here together(maybe 7 mill'ish', AAV?) for a number of yrs. Could that have been partly, what EP & Aqua were meeting about, after JB exited stage-left? Y'all must recall(2 yrs back) when BB was first rumoured possibly on-market. EP seemed to make quite a fuss. At the time, I made a prop(was rather proud of:^) suggesting we should deal him to Minny for a pkg including Greenway & a 1st(they had 2 of them, back then). If this inkling is true, we best run with the three amigos. & Hell, Brock's a bloody charmer that raises the cool-factor(for all 23 F***in' dudes) 'til they simply break the scale. With EP's outergalactic-eccentricity & QH's cuddliness, we're destined for compelling dominance! Just my 2 Yen...

But then say you're strongly angling in on the Div 2nd-slot? Not many GM's back off, when in such a position. Appears a lotta Pac Div hard-chargers are running low on fuel these days. -

The beautiful thing is we could amass all these assets for JT, which will almost certainly exceed the asset we would have landed with that 2019 1st r pick(had we never acquired him in the first place)! But we got 3(albeit interrupted) great seasons outa' him anyways..which helped our kids get valuable PO-experience. -

But it's the razor's edge that we all dance upon. IF we are playing well, & seemingly hold tighter to our prime resources, well that may very well be WHEN the most attractive(knock-yer-socks-off) offer arrives. It's a question of immediate-gratification vs playing a long-game with a serious contender aspirations(perhaps in 2025?) -

JM, Am skeptical owners will sign up for 50% retention - but obviously it would sweeten the pot(& future plot). As you gents have prob seen already, am seriously pondering whether we SHOULD sell early, AND perhaps move TWO big pieces(Miller & another..?) It's mighty HARD to take a step(or two) back now, but it could set the table for 8-10 yrs of a more competitive team.
