Looking for Canucks Fans from the 1970s/80s to help me with a few names as I am making a top 10 Canucks enforcers/fighters. The basic requirement would be they were Canucks for at least 100 games (Season+). Only problem is, I don't know any of the older tough guys (I do have Jack McIlhargy) but basing it just off of career PIMs isn't ideal, wanting names for big, mean, and nasty enforcers/fighters.

although he wasn’t consider an enforcer, orland kurtenbach was a tough player who i can’t remember him ever losing a fight. he said that when he fought, he always stood on the tips of his skates. it gave him more power in his punches. kurt and pat quinn went at it a practise once. would have loved to see that one. quinn was no slouch either.

@smithers joe Kurtenbach was from a time your best players (I'm talking actual hockey skills and not fighting) actually were often your enforcers. Not saying he was remotely like Gordie Howe, Rocket Richard, etc.,...but those guys weren't afraid to 'drop the gloves'. Heck, even Bobby Orr was legit middleweight fighter.
In the Canucks 1st year in the NHL, they actually were fighting for a playoff spot for a time! But Kurtenback went down with an injury at the wrong time & the 'wheels fell off the team'.

@smithers joeHow about Harold Snepsts? Was he 'feared' or considered a good fighter? Garth Butcher? My father-in-law (Who is a Leafs fan) said he was just an overweight slug by the time the Leafs got him (Last year of his career)
