  1. By my count it appears that 10 players dressed tonight were not on the team on opening night, they were either on another team or in Abbotsford. So half the team still came together to beat Dallas.... seems like there is some unity and buying in to a system starting to work here. Not to mention Demko stole this one despite 4 goals against.
  2. Bloom is a winger... Perfect, fits the mold of getting all the wingers. Good cap dump though.
  3. Hopefully these guys are mature enough to understand the business side of professional hockey. Most players are so I doubt this is an issue. Canucks did trade Petey's best bud afterall and Petey didn;t have an issue with it.
  4. Herter and Libor Polasek are going to be a solid core to build around for years to come.
  5. I don't think you can trade a waiver pickup without jumping through a few hoops first.
  6. In the middle of a scrum when guys are ready to fight he decides to spit? Unlikely
  7. I wouldn't jump straight to that conclusion. I subscribe more to the domino thought process in that there have been other more appealing options for teams, once those dominoes fall then the desperate will come calling. Also, Canuck fans tend to under-value all of Myers, Boeser and Garland. All are able to contribute but their contracts are tough to move in-season but there would certainly be off-season interest in these guys.
  8. Canucks will certainly need to shed one big salary if not two going into next season but make me nervous that Miller would be the guy. Seems like Myers, Brock or Garland would be better but maybe depends on who is moveable. If it is Miller then they need a Jeannot ++ type of offer to move ahead.
  9. Still disappointed until we see something meaningful with the defense. Ps... JR is not the GM... Alvin is the guy here.
  10. Between Silovs, Martin and Delia, Silovs does seem like the only one to be able to string together consistent back to back efforts.
