  1. Domi was also sent down, London is going to be awesome this year.
  2. My team Canada Hall-Crosby-Perry Tavares-Stamkos-St.Louis Giroux-Toews-Eberle E.Staal-Bergeron-Nash Couture Keith Seabrook Hamhuis Weber Subban Pietrangelo Letang Luongo Price Smith
  3. did you just seriously say Bouwmeester is a better offensive blueliner than Pietrangelo? That statement itself is offensive.
  4. Horrible Horrible thread, couldn't even get through the first paragraph without gaging from the stupidity. The Sedins have been our best players for years and have one of the most affordable contracts in the NHL. Even if we go with a youth movement you will need some vets to take the kids under their wing and teach them, who would be better for that job than the very hockey smart Sedins. As for the very tired arguement that the Sedins can't get in done in the playoffs take a look at their playoff scoring stats. Yeah they sucked in the playoffs last year, but what Canuck didn't. Henrik was a point per game in 2012 playoffs playing the majority of the games without Daniel. In the 2011 run Henrik lead the Canucks in scoring and Daniel was second!
  5. My point was that Seabrook made the previous olympic team largely because of his chemistry with Keith, there where better Dmen that got left off the team, the same thing could happen for Bouwmeester. I'm not a huge fan of Bouwmeester but I was just saying he has some pluses working in his favour that more to do with circumstance then talent. Being a natural left sided Dmen and having chemistry with Pietrangelo could go a long ways for Bouwmeester in a short olympic tourney. His speed as Integra pointed out will also be a factor on the bigger ice. Keith Seabrook Hamhuis Weber Bouwmeester Pietrangelo Subban has alot going for it, although it would be hard to leave out speedy Doughty.
  6. Sid is the face of hockey Canada now, so it would very strange if anyone other than him wore the C. Toews should get an A.
  7. See kids this is what happens when your brain is on drugs.
  8. yet Bergeron, Subban, Giroux, St. Louis, etc... made the cut. Although there does seem to be fewer French-Canadian players than previous years.
  9. The next person who suggests Torts as the next Canucks coach deserves a virtual punch in the stomach.

I guess Gillis gets the virtual punch in the stomach.

  10. Not a big fan of owners meddling in hockey operations decisions, but in this case I agree with them Tippet would be a great choice as coach. That being said, is he even available?
  11. Being an islander I would like to get more into Royals games. Any players to watch on the team? Future NHLers to keep an eye out for?
  12. opps I see what you did there good one
  13. since most of the Islands population is on the sheltered East side of the island we should be ok tsunami wise, the quack itself will have a more devasating impact however.
  14. haha awesome comment on my profile

glad someone got the obscure Simpsons reference

  15. I think it will be between Subban, Hall and either Eberle or Hodgson. I could see both Eberle and Hodgson earning more playing time as they go this season. With Eberle playing centre on the topline with Hall and Hemsky and Hodgson starting on the Kesler line with Burrows injured. You do make a good case for McBain though I kind of forgot about him, as I'm sure a few other western based fans did.
