  1. Yeah you're argument is great. It's like being obese and saying, meh, I'm already fat might as well just keep eating chocolate cake. Nature is natural, we shouldn't be monkeying with it intentionally.
  2. Hurricanes are an important and natural phenomenon on earth. Why would you want to stop them in the first place. I find it really odd you're posting in that other thread about climate change yet you're here advocating for screwing with nature even more.
  3. I don't assume anything other than nature is nature. To try and artificially stop hurricanes cause they do damage is freaking asinine. Totally, we just genetically engineer a super human who controls weather with their thoughts, and then they stop all the hurricanes and lighting and floods and earthquakes and fog and anything else we don't like. I don't in anyway see how that could result in anything other than awesome. Lasers man!
  4. You can't 'improve' nature. Wtf No one is pro-hurricane like people aren't anti-rainbow. You're putting human emotions on natural processes. That's silly.
  5. So, your argument that we should artificially manipulate the weather, a process you say we've already tried and screwed up, is that we should manipulate it even more? I feel like you're trolling me, you can't be this obtuse.
  6. Are you? You think it's obvious that it is in our best interests to artificially manipulate the weather??
  7. Your want to artificially stop hurricanes? lol

    Ben Hutton | #27 | D

Guarantee Hutton does not make the opening roster. BUT, I'm excited about him moving forward.
  9. I can't believe how many idiots are whining about how their power is out and they want hydro to pay for their freezer food losses lol. People are the worst.
  10. East van power out. Stanley park closed. Street trees ripped up everywhere.
  11. Whatever. Not me who was spoiling this. You want to have things spoiler free, live in a bubble. Otherwise deal.
  12. For your actions. If I don't want to hear the score in a game I'll take actions to avoid hearing it even if my buddies or the radio or whoever says they won't say it. I won't rely on others to give me what I want when I can just get it myself.
  13. To your last paragraph. Don't read the thread. If you're so concerned about something, why risk it? Regardless, it doesn't matter anymore. But seriously, take some responsibility and stop expecting random internet people to play by the rules.
  14. I guess if you're so bent out of shape that someone might spoil your viewing experience, how hard is it to just not read this thread at all.
  15. If you're so worried about it, just don't read it...doesn't matter now anyway.
  16. Well yeah, there's this that forces them to make some changes. But again, I just find it weird that people get so up in arms about an adaptation of a book when it's not exactly as the book was written. TV or movies are different from books. They have to be different for a variety of reasons. Some things are better, some things are worse. But in either case it's entirely subjective and frankly if it makes for exciting TV, who cares.
  17. I don't get this. It's a show based on a book. If you want things to be totally true to the book, read the book again.
  18. I just looked at his blog/website, how the hell does he have anytime to write with all his constant appearances and editing other stuff... Get to it!
