if gaborik stays healthy and the rangers make the playoffs, it's his to loose, but Miller or maybe even Brodeur may sneak into contention. sadly, Henrik may go no further as a nomination . as much as i love the twins, the eastern-based media will frown down on giving one of the twins an MVP when they could easily give it to one of their renowned superstars of the east.

Nice article. I'm hoping their game becomes more flexible now, so that either one of them may be the scorer when on the ice. Hopefully they don't just revert to their cycle play every single shift, but use it with the occasional rush-shift, which brought them a lot of success in their earlier years, and makes them MUCH harder to defend against.

Crashing the net also helps the defence too. Schneider's goal is a perfect example of this, with Burrows completely blinding the goalie in Colorado. Hopefully this will help our D pot a few more goals themselves.
