Not offensively.
Even with Teo’s slow start. His offensive WAR is at 2.3. Whereas, Varsho is at 0.3.
More than makes up the difference with his defense and baserunning.

Mariners Teoscar Hernandez now has a 15 game hitting streak, matching his career high…should have never traded the guy
Varsho and KK have both put up more value than Teoscar this year.

David Pastrnak is probably the max - $11.25 million per year. He's been elite for longer than Petey has.
Matthew Tkatchuk is probably the floor - $9.5 million per year (adjust upwards for Florida taxes).
I'm expecting a 10.5-11 million per year deal.

Are you sure we are watching the same player? He looks legit right now…
He's got poor puck skills and is basically hanging on by taking absolutely zero risks. Takes too long to make decisions which slows down/eliminates controlled breakouts. Hasn't cost the Canucks defensively but he is playing very sheltered minutes. Not a player that'll win you games right now.

Hirose has NHL talent, Mcward seems a few years away, if he develops.

Someone get OEL back in the lineup so we can lose some games.

Its sad to think that these AHLers are better than OEL but OEL might be gifted a spot next year because of name power/contract status.

If you've been on Twitter recently, you'll notice that it's currently overrun with bots and fake accounts. Way worse than before.

Love the deal. Not for the parts, mind you, but because I'm hoping this signals that the Canucks are finally getting serious in redoing this garbage roster.

By far the best you're gonna get. Either a 13-17ish pick this year or perhaps an even better one next year.
vs. a 20-30 pick you would've gotten from most of the other teams interested.

Hopefully a game like this will drill it into the thick skulls of management that a rEtOoL is not the way to go.

Can us fans please just get some intelligent people in charge of this team.
Even the dumbest of people can figure out that 10 years of rEtOoL with nothing to show for it might mean we should try something different.
Morons, all of them. A collection of dimwitted idiots running this team. For the first time in my life, I'm embarrassed to be a fan of this team.
Go Kraken. Screw these losers.

Myers having himself a period lol

Just love watching Miller standing around controller disconnected with one hand on the stick and barely moving in the defensive zone. Couldn't give less of a shit if he tried.

If only the Canucks would skate this hard all the time.

Don’t even think Stillman is good enough for the AHL
Im pretty sure I'd cut him from my beer league team.

Lol Boeser skating in quicksand as multiple Habs players skate right by him.

Stillman and Myers continue their tank commanding. Stillman doing all the little things to help the Canucks lose.
-
No real point having Hughes up top on a 5 on 3. Thats a position a big shooter should be at.

Canucks can't skate with the panthers.

Funny period. Kings skating circles around the flat footed Canucks yet the Canucks have the only goal.

Malkin just bounced off of Schenn twice. Schenn is crazy strong.

That was Hoglander. OT is a crap shoot anyway. I don’t really blame players in OT, sometimes you take a chance and it doesn’t work out otherwise it’s just a cycle back into your end over and over again. Then it goes too a shootout. And those just suck.
Hope your doing well JB
Nope, Hoglander lost the puck, Horvat made the low IQ play to jump forward.

This is the worst defense I've ever seen Hughes play.

[Report] Canucks name Quinn Hughes as captain
in Canucks Talk
Posted
He's the best choice.
By all accounts, he's a leader in the dressing room, is comfortable in front of the media, and isn't afraid of calling out players/coaches/management.
Q. Hughes = accountability
Anybody saying Miller was the better choice...no absolutely not. You don't give the C to a guy who lazily glides back to the bench if the shift doesn't go his way, and displays poor body language constantly. He's a firey guy but not captain material.
