@Fateless Your arguments are so ridiculous it's not even funny. Stop making crap up and actually look up at the stats. He played with Leo Komaraov and Patrick Marleau 43.5% of the time (see Dobber Sports) and 7.8% of the time with either Brown, Kapanen or Komarov. More than HALF of his even-strength time on ice was without Marner. Plus the idea that you think Patrick Marleau is the reason for Kadri's success is laughable. He was actually on a line with Marner at five on five less than half of the time (38.9%) of the time and in fact he has scored 15 points without Marner with the likes of Komarov and Marleau as opposed to 14 points with Marner and Marleau. The power play argument that you're trying to make is completely moot. It's not like Jay Beagle and Antoine Roussel are going to replace the Sedins on the powerplay. Like seriously, who are you going to play on the powerplay?
Oh we have a kid named Elias Pettersson. You may have heard of him. Honestly, at some point your illogical arguments need to stop. For a guy whose put up an average of 50+ points these past three seasons, there's no reason to believe he can't keep up those numbers. This isn't a case of Brandon Sutter 2.0 acquiring him, hoping that he will score more points if we change his role. Honestly, you might as well say there's no reason to believe that anyone could put up any numbers on our team. Silly argument. Also, it's not like Bo Horvat scored 52 points 2 seasons ago before Brock Boeser arrived on the scene...
"Plus he is 27. So that's heading towards the downward portion". Wow. I shouldn't even comment on this. I don't know when you think a player's prime is but to let you know, it's from 27 onwards and plateaus until their early thirties. Their decline doesn't start until 32 or 33. I guess 6 years of prime Kadri scoring 50 points won't be enough for you...
Maybe you should seriously lay off the pot. Oh. and look up some facts.

@Pears that's the silly Canucks fan in you. He's a great teammate and if he were blindsinding someone like Johnny Gaudreau instead of Daniel Sedin and playing with the same edge he does, all the Canuck fans would instantly be in love with him.
