  1. What's the hardest exam you've ever had to write?

      Canada Customs and Border Services exam. 

      3 hours. They start of with facial recognition and quick blurb about what their record is, and why they are of interest.

      Then they get you on a different tack. Giving you a series of logic questions. (I liked those).

      Then a series of customs duty calculations. 

      Then back to the facial recognition sort of like a police lineup but telling you to pick out the bad guy.

      Took it twice. Never got a call back. So I assume I failed.

      Licensing exams are pretty high stakes. It's a high pressure environment with a written and [sometimes] practical component (depending on the discipline). They can be 8 hours long or even take 2 days. The pressure your feel is pretty significant; you've prepared for months to perform within this small window of time. If you fail, you can't work until you pass it (the next testing is usually 6 months away).
