If he was on the fence about resigning before just wait until he hears how much of a massive disappointment he was in the playoffs.  I still think he wants out of there.

I think I saw some report recently saying he wants to sign with an American team.

I'm with AJ...revenge means we're stuck on something but we have the ability to move past it.  Bullies are awful, but they don't deserve our attention (often what they're seeking).

I like the old saying about drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.  When you hold on to something and carry it with you, it's bad for your mind, body and soul.  Let it go - that may require therapy but to stay stuck on a bully's actions is dragging that weight around.  We can't change or control others' actions but we can control how we respond to them.

If it's current/in real time - by all means, spill it.  Because the more we speak out against bullying, the more difficult it is for the bully to pull his/her crap.  But if it's from the past, put it to rest there.

Lived in Toronto for 5 years. I didn't like it. It's not the worst place in the world. At least the transit system is good. I visited Montreal for a week. I really liked it. Has a more international vibe. The people in Montreal are very nice. However leave the city and go to Quebec City. Then you get the Quebecois attitude. 

(Basically if you don't speak French they hate you).

Ironically when I was in Paris. Outside of the scammers. I loved that city. And as long as you were trying to speak French, they will go out of their way to help you for the most part. (The woman at the metro was horrible though. I was using my map giving her the destination and she looked at me like I was from another galaxy, maybe she thought I was American.)

Vancouver is end game, while toronto and particularly quebec are the spawn zones of canada. You be the judge.

Love visiting Montreal.  Never had to speak a lick of French every time I have been.

people were saying the same thing about lind and gadj

let's see how the next year progresses before suggesting players have arrived

the players who really arrived were the ones that were drafted and then blew it all up in their next season, brock, ep40, gaudette, etc... dahlin did fine too. but then cratered in north america

lind and gadj did not shine in their draft +1 season

i'm gonna celebrate more once we see some progression from the newly drafted lot

JB seemed pretty pumped about him.   Brackett as well.  "best hands in the draft" lol.  High praise

Hey @NewbieCanuckFan Mrs. Alf had auto flush installed on the toilets.  Alf now does his business in flower pots.  

In points - 3rd in the Pacific, 8th in the West and tied 16th in the league.

In point percentage - 4th in the Pacific, 10th in the West and 24th in the league.  

Canucks are the only team to have played 23 games which is insane given that they are also the only team with 14 road games.  

It's really early in the season.  Regardless of what the makeup of the conference is, it takes a certain amount of sucking REALLY bad to be that out of a playoff spot right now.

hardest part of the schedule is done

majority of the remaining games are at home

january is typically injury month for the canucks

but this season they hardly travel that month

they should be back a full strength before christmas

hockey gods have vowed to then lay off the canucks injury epidemic for 6 weeks

so we can watch the team shine

and then whammy them double hard shortly before the tdl

or maybe they will just forget about the team

and we'll just see the team progress and mature and gain a wild card spot
