      No, that's a fair statement. Once you learn the subtle nuances of the game it is highly addictive and such a joy to watch

      I would agree about knowing the subtle nuances of it make it way more interesting. I am a life long cyclist and a life long watcher of the tour and knowing the history and the tradition makes it utterly fascinating. Most people don't understand and/or just don't get it. I'm the same way with baseball, WTF I just don't get the draw to it.
