Going off is the best thing that Jake does, coach is working on improving his game. The eventual goal is to have jump on the ice on one end of the bench and jump back on at the other. With a couple of year’s practice maybe he could learn to do that without picking up a penalty, thus taking maximum advantage of short shifting. We do not want to get Jake tired, after all.

No, he was one of three Canuck prospects loaned to Winnipeg - Sautner, Graovac and Silovs - available for quick recall because they are in Canada. Sautner and Graovac are older guys keeping in game shape, who have had at least a drink of water in the NHL.

July 21, 2021 for the expansion draft. Cancelling the normal draft would be a big burden for Seattle because it could make it more difficult to trade with teams attempting to protect extra players by giving up draft picks. Las Vegas prospered enormously from that.

I’m glad to see Rathbone added to the Comet’s roster. They need a left shot defender, and they need one with offensive smarts - both of which Rathbone provides. He is reputed for great edges, good speed and a first class shot - whether he can defend at this level, we shall see. Rafferty and Teves, both college players, both did well at this level defensively in their AHL rookie years - we shall see about Rathbone.

The problem is not about other teams, the problem will be who is available from our team.

Yahoo! Then I’m a happy camper.

Won’t Edler meet the requirements if we don’t protect him? Or Benn?

Focht, Gadjovich, Lind, and Jasek all showing progress this year. What the Comets need is a great left D prospect... like Rathbone wasting away on the taxi squad six layers deep behind more experienced D’s.

Yeah. His problem has not been the inability to score, just the inability to stay healthy.

Run over by a tractor? Whacked by a weed wacker?

Yeah, I get it. I live in Abby, when we had the Calgary farm team here, we used to get the Comets. We used to get big crowds in that 7000 seat arena. If the Canucks had made a deal with Abby, they would have packed that rink on a consistent basis, especially now with the kind of prospects we could have put in that rink. But, the travel would have sucked for the players.

Determination, like the rest of the virtues, are not products of the heart, like emotions, they are products of that thing between your ears.

Really like Juolevi’s play. For a young guy and rookie, he has really kept his cool, not really seen him get beat more than a couple times.

That was a bit much, huh? The way I look at it, Jake’s issues aren’t physical, and that leaves...

Pretty sure we won’t be getting another 6 million dollar man, anyway.

Saving space on the internet, I heard it i# getting full.

Well, we could demote Rathbone off the taxi and Uber him to Utica. Rathbone is not playing and Chatfield, Hamonic, Brisebois, and Sautner are probably ahead of him.

In Russia, if there is no hole, the player is fine. If the player is leaky, fill him with snow and cover with hockey tape.

So, they also get to choose the top prospects off the best teams, that are probably the best teams because they have the best development programs. I don't agree with punishing the best for no other reason than that they have become the best - it is an example of punishing achievement. If Seattle is smart they will accumulate a ton of picks from teams trying to protect players - just like Las Vegas - a team that was pretty much granted a perennial playoff appearance by an overgenerous entry to the league. Other teams had to struggle to build contenders. I love success that is earned and despise success achieved by appropriating the assets that others have earned. I see you have a dog in the fight, being co-located with the Seattle farm team.
