    You guys don't get it, you don't understand. This is way f**king larger than you could possibly imagine!

     

    We all know the NHL was founded in the fall of 1917, but there was a little global event that was taking place then called World War 1.

     

    Sort of strange to start a professional hockey league in North America during the greatest war ever seen don't you think?

     

    Well just about 1 year after the founding of the NHL in 1918 the war ends. Germany surrenders even though many at that point still believed the war was winnable for them.


    Why? What did it have to do with the NHL? Follow me here...

     

    53 years from the start of the NHL they expanded by 2 teams Vancouver being one of them... starting to see the bigger picture people?

     

    Bo Horvat was number 53 and the captain. When they traded him away they needed to squash the significance of this to world affairs.

     

    They knew that the nerds on CDC would obviously figure it out. They had to be silenced, but how? 

     

    Claim they are shutting down their only form of social interaction, watch them abandon ship like rats knowing they are going to drown.

     

    But why keep it up now? Why not just go through with shutting it down you ask?

     

    See now you are asking the right question... pull the strings and soon the web of lies and deceit will unravel. 

     

    I can't tell you the rest now, but just know these things. I will reveal all I know very soon. If I disappear you know all I have said is true and finally don't trust anyone especially not these mods... they have to be in on it people. It's time to wake up!

    Yah I also thought you were a shoe in for the smallest CDC penis award! To think of the hours the selection committee spent over the years measuring penises, researching penises, gaging the girth, length and veininess just to omit the category entirely makes you question if that was truly @Zfetch’s motives for obsessively doing it for these past 2 decades.

    The true award is the social outcasts living in their mother’s basement, who chose to cheer for a shitty team that will never win a Stanley cup cause their useless child abusing ass owner who got his money from slum lording and basically slave farming labor, we met along the way!

    That was an awesome game and reminds me why I've spent parts of nearly 10 years (wtf how has it been that long?) playing this game. Even though I haven't played it with the same intensity as I used to in years, it was fitting that I went back to taking time out of my day to commit to the game one last time on this site, and it was great to see many of you guys do the same. But of course there were still some slankers that made it harder to play, wouldn't be CDC mafia without that :P

    @Zfetch @ilduce39 @luckylager @Intoewsables It was fun being part of a "TP alliance" again, feels like it's been a long time since that was a thing lol. Shame we couldn't get it done, I jumped the gun a bit with the numbers and may not have played it optimally, but oh well that's just how it goes sometimes

     

    @Alchemy Time @Where's Wellwood It was nice to play with you guys again, haven't seen you in ages

     

    And everyone else, thanks for being a part of this

     

    I may not have an encyclopedic memory of mafia anymore but I think this game will join the moments of mafia that I'll never forget

    Like @Master Radishes's 100th game with the role madness Zodiac theme, one of my first ever games which kicked off the greatest era of CDC mafia

    Or my first ever win as mafia, where I somehow convinced @Where's Wellwood to vote for the town leader @Intoewsables over me in a F3 (sorry I'll never let you guys forget this), which was basically when I started actually being a decent player

    The famous La Casa Del Horror game where the TP alliance (including me) kept leading CFDs onto TP and played the entire game very poorly but it was a massive game and really fun

    @JohnLocke's Lost themed game which was really confusing especially since multiple people had claimed the same character, and this happened for multiple characters somehow. I actually went back and read through the game after watching Lost

    @Zfetch's game with the secret cult that I was the cult leader of, which everyone got really upset about after the game :D

    Some game where I was on a mafia team that tried a last minute CFD to win the game, and somehow got a TP named Malkin Cookies to join in the CFD :lol:, one of the funniest things I've ever seen. But iirc we somehow failed the CFD and somehow the game kept going competitively instead of every single one of us being confirmed scum

    Lynching Kaz over Dral for no reason in a F3 and losing, my WW moment

    Being the leader of the town when I was mafia in the Hunger Games themed game, getting everyone to use their kill on a TP and tunneling @Beluga Whaleso hard that I got him lynched and we won the game in round 2 without any of us dying

    And probably many other awesome games that I can't think of at the moment that will come back to me later

    And of course the friends I made along the way

    Pffff this organization doesn’t have the testicular fortitude to shut down this site. They have probably already seen traffic drop to the Canucks website and we’re like ummmmm why dis happen?
