I bought nhl09 right after launch on ps3. I hated it immediately after playing it. I brought it back and told them the game would freeze after 30 minutes of play, and that it did it on my friends ps3 as well. Figured there was no way they'd actually test it, and obviously they didn't. Then I asked if I could swap it for gears of war instead which they agreed to do. Not sure if it was just the individual I was dealing with or not, but the whole process went much smoother than I expected.

You'll be cursing that thing when you want to attempt a muscle up.

Interstellar - 9/10 Loved it. Right up my ally. Im looking forward go watching it again.

The Rover - 6.5/10 Entertaining flick for the most part. Robert Pattinson, who I've only ever seen from Twilight, was pretty spectacular. I've never thought much of him as an actor, but he played the role of Ray extremely well.

That's a great way to derail your motivation and gym routine in September.

Would have been happy with either Virtanen or Ehlers. I'm glad it wasn't Ritchie. We'll see in a few years though...

If we end up with the 1st overall we inevitably will overpay for it. For a team so shallow on depth and prospects.. That's kinda scary to me. All we can do is hope and pray that we end up winning the trade 3-5 years down the line...

I don't like the idea of trading Hunter and the 6th for 1st.. If we make that trade and one of the top 5 slips, I'd say it isn't worth it. Obviously we won't know which choice was better sure, either way, for a number of years... But in our situation I'd much rather have multiple prospects with high ceilings compared to one that might be considered more of a "sure thing". We just don't have any sort of depth with prospects. We need more, not less. If this was the only move we made, and there wasn't a grander scheme to acquire more good prospects, I'd rather play it safe and go with quantity over projected quality.

Honestly I would be happy with getting Tarasenko and a 1st for Kesler and our 2nd.

Surprised he was taken alive... But happy he's going to be spending his next few days surrounded by officers who are likely going to be turning the cameras off for periods of time..

Anyone here do crossfit or a variation of such? I just cancelled my gym membership after 6 years. It got way too stale, amongst other issues with the facility. At this point of my life I'm getting bored of just lifting weights. I'm more into jump rope, box jumps and pull-ups these days. Practical strength over just trying to get huge. Anyways.. Been doing some research on it. Looks fun and challenging, but super expensive.

Just watched The Place Beyond The Pines.. 8/10 I remember when this was in theaters, but I had no idea what it was about. I judged it based on the cover and thought the movie would suck. I noticed it was free on demand today and just randomly ordered it without reading the description. What a great flick! It was kind of nice not knowing the plot because I was thrown off several times with the direction of the movie. Highly recommend it.
