  1. This unorganized mob of motorcyclists deserved what they got. If a group of 50 people of any sort block in and surround my car I'm starting to fear for my safety immediately. Irregardless of what precipitated the events, I'm taking whatever action I can to escape that situation, especially if my family is involved. Hell, I'd run over a mob of nuns if I felt they posed enough danger to my family.
  2. Yeah, Eyedea died a couple years back unfourtunetly. That killer mike and elp album was very good.
  3. not sure how many of you guys and gals like hip hop, but I've been playing this repeatedly lately. Older song, but its terrific. He was an incredibly talented guy.
  4. Not sure if this has already been posted (probably has somewhere), but this had me in stitches haha
  5. Just out of curiosity, why do people care so much about the picture quality of video game cinematics? Personally, that's always frustrated the hell out of me when these companies advertise new games. I don't care what the cinematics looks like. I care about actual game play graphics. So until I actually see video of gameplay, none of this bs graphic mongering means much to me.
  6. Not trying to get too personal here or anything.. But what sort of build do you have? Skinny? Overweight? Skinnyfat? The reason I ask is because in my case, I found once I started developing some mass/definition, it became much more enjoyable to spend time at the gym. It's incredibly vein, but that's what happens. Getting a vascular pump going (nohomo) never gets old to me.
  7. Motivation eventually leads to habit. Once you get in the habit of going, it's gravy.
  8. Is anyone else kind of pissed that the coaches aren't fighting on this card? The card is good... But still.. They should be fighting on it too. It's part of the show.
  9. Bermudez/Grice one of the most entertaining fights in recent memory.
  10. Whoa. Was I ever wrong. Cain looked great, JDS looked awful. Maybe one was a direct result of the other, I don't know. Either way. JDS has some visible holes in his game. He needs to stop blocking punches with his face, and he needs to step up his cardio. Great win for Cain. The revolving door of hw champs continues....
  11. Anything can happen, but I jut can't picture Dos Santos losing to Cain at this point of his career. He's just so incredibly dominate.
  12. I would much rather see gsp/Diaz instead of gsp/Hendricks. Nothing against Hendricks, he's earned his shot for sure, but I just see the Diaz matchup being more competitive and entertaining... That's assuming Diaz actually shows up.
  13. If we ever see them fight, we'll know the answer. Until then I disagree as well. Rampage offers nothing but a punchers chance to anybody anymore. Judging by the last few years of his career, he clearly has little to no motivation to train properly. He never has a gameplan, and complains whenever someone does stand and bang with him. Rashad has good standup, but I think Vitor has better. Also better from the top or the bottom. Unless rashad literally somehow managed to smother him for 3 rounds, I think that's an easy win for Belfort.
  14. I disagree. With the exception of maybe Overeem, all of those losses occurred while his opponents were essentially at or approaching their peaks. Those losses are nothing to scoff at. That's top competition. Its not like he lost to Tito and Chuck recently... His win over Franklin was pretty big at the time as well, don't act as if it wasn't. At the time he was still a top 5 ww. Anthony Johnson was (and to a lesser extent still is) a pretty highly regarded up and comer as well. This guy went 4 rounds with a top 3 p4p fighter in Jones and almost snapped his arm. Nobody else has even come remotely close to damaging Jones. And that was what, 3 months ago? Vitor is still progressing, and in my opinion is at his peak now. He's a beast.
  15. Huh? Is Vitor chopped liver or something? Just because silva finished him quickly with a matrix style front kick, it doesn't diminish his skill set. Belfort is a beast. He beats rampage and Evans any day of the week.
  16. Agreed. I honestly thought Condit was going to beat gsp. It was his fight to lose, given gsp's time off. Condit is a beeeast and doesn't get nearly enough credit... That being said, I don't see Hendricks beating Condit - let alone gsp. He's got a punchers chance, sure. Most of gsp's previous opponents had exactly that. But everything else favors gsp in that fight.
  17. AWESOME CARD!!! That Silva fight was absolutely absurd!!
  18. I'm pretty sick of the whole Fedor argument.... As for the loss last night... I actually don't think it looks as bad as people are making it out to be. He got tapped out... that can really happen to anyone. Just like anyone can get KO'd by the right punch at the right time. Now, if Werdum completely dominated Fedor for 2 rounds THEN tapped him.. I would be in a lot more shock. Fedor was winning the fight, got over confident, and got tapped. Big deal. Huge congrats to Werdum though.. he did what he was supposed to do. He must be on cloud 9 right now.
  19. pretty decent card tonight... thank god i had a pvr so I could fast forward through all those damn commercials. What a ludicrous amount of advertisements. Dos Santos looked great... johnny jones looked just as good. Should be some upcoming title fights for those guys later this year.
  20. That was complete robbery. I wouldn't be surprised if his locker room was ransacked, and his passport and wallet were missing as well.... Poor Shogun.
  21. I used to be a huge Shogun fan... there was a time when he really looked unstoppable. But because of his recent injury woes - I really don't know which Shogun is going to show up. I have a feeling he will never return to his old Pride form, and he could be beyond his peak despite his young age. My heart is hoping Shogun.. but I'd put money on Machida.
  22. I think it's ridiculous that Strikeforce is trying to charge $50 for a ppv. I'd really like to watch that card, but can hardly stand to pay that price for a ufc ppv, let alone strikeforce. If it's not free, make it waaaay cheaper than a ufc is. I'm guessing the ppv revenue for this card will be terrible...
  23. If Brock got a title shot in his 2nd fight, it's not entirely out of the question for the #1 ranked heavyweight in the world to walk in and get a title shot right away. I wouldn't want to see it personally, since I'd rather see Fedor get some real time experience in the octagon.. but it could happen. Easily. Imagine Fedor comes in and fights some stepping stone and subsequently gets KO'd... his stock will drop immediately, and the hype for Brock Vs Fedor will disappear. The ufc will lose huge amounts of money.
