[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Los Angeles Kings | Mar. 18, 2023

They are definitely playing better as a team in there own end. Demko was good but unlike earlier this year he is not the main reason the other team doesn't get at least 7! Team packs it in inside their own blueline now and doesnt give up near the chances. I personally like myers not in the lineup. He creates too much disorganization.. tochett is doing a great job but we need more size and grit with wingers something im sure they are trying to address. Even if we picked top 5 this year i am not certain our draft class would make an immediate impact on this roster. They are playing well and one other thing,, give the other teams some credit.. if nucks dont dominate and play great there are negetive comments from media about how the effort or compete wasnt there. The other guys get paid as well.. -

Myers in fine form -
He wont retire and much like all others on the blueline he had no chance playing against other teams top players with the teams defensive structure and no help from the forwards. He is still a good player that will be fine when healthy and with the team playing better defensively as a whole. Cant afford to buy him out. Coaching can make a huge difference for his play

(Rumour) 4 teams interested in J.T. Miller
cocanuck replied to combover's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
I agree,, miller is tough on the boards, has size, has great vision and can score. He competes as well. He would definitely leave a hole. I personally love the player he is right now (defensively more responsible). -

Isnt he the guy that cheap shot petterson?? Cant remember -
I still think its a little early but i like the recent moves.. i do not like the boeser signing and didnt at the time ( cant skate or drive play ), i would have preferred a miller trade as his age doesnt match up with their window however you need to keep talent around petey to keep him happy and not lose every game. I like miller as a player when he is engaged on defensive side which he has improved for sure.. the big question is drafting and jr’s draft record has been terrible.. i do not like jl as i feel he lacks dynamic quality which a first round lick should have. If you cant skate well you will struggle in todays league.. i got roasted when i first joined this forum creating a pat white topic and how i couldnt figure out why he was our pick.. same reason, no dynamic quality.. drafting is the lifeline of success for a team and that is my big question mark.. past results have not been good for jr but fingers crossed

Totally agree,, he has relied on his shot and passing and neglected his weakness or at least it appears he has neglected his skating. Its a fast league now -

No way brock gets moved. 6.75 for how he is playing, no way. Too slow and doesnt drive play
